DIRT 5 was announced last month, as the team from Codemasters released their announcement trailer, along with some details and screenshots.
Recently, they revealed details on their DIRT 5 Career Mode. We’ve posted some info below, but make sure to read the full blog, for all of the details.
STORY – Rise from obscurity to infamy in an amplified off-road racing world. Mentored by Alex Janicek (voiced by TroyBaker) and facing fierce competitors, such as the revered Bruno Durand (voiced by Nolan North). Be part of a deep narrative weaved into constant action, fun and style.
PROGRESSION – Take on 130 events across five chapters in Career, covering nine different race types. With multiple progression paths and in-race objectives, how you play Career is up to you, with big rewards and secret events opening up for the best drivers.
SPONSORS – Represent 20 different real-world brands, including Michelin, Monster Energy and Sparco. Racing for brands unlocks their unique livery, and other other rewards. Switch between sponsors or stay loyal and earn everything one sponsor can offer.
SPLIT-SCREEN – DIRT 5‘s split-screen mode for up to four players is included in Career mode. Earn rewards together, drop in and out whenever you want, and earn currency rewards as a guest, for you to collect when you next play as the host player.
DIRT 5 launches in autumn on Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, PC (Steam) and the current generation of Xbox and PlayStation consoles. A Google Stadia version will be released in early 2021.
