Here you go. It would be foolish for them to do it in just one mode.

A+ to every one of these changes across the board.
My only concern is if target passing will make bottom tier QBs play like Tom Brady even if you're playing on sim mode. THAT would not be cool, IMHO. Just because it's target passing doesn't mean in sim mode you still shouldn't have problems with a practice squad QB.
That and it might become OP. But hey, if you're great at something you're great at it.

Some people say there isn't much change to Franchise, but these new mechanics and game play features, along with the new Sim mode, ARE Franchise changers as much as anything. Features like off the ball injuries, and larger differences in QB accuracy (1st/3rd string for example) will change how you play Franchise, from in game to how you build your roster.
Not that it's my biggest worry in the world, but I'm curious about the ID the Mike. The article I read to learn specifics about real life ID the Mike is about ID'ing the "center" of your blocking focus. So, if it's the MLB, blocking is pretty much normal. If u see a DB blitzing on the right side, u might ID the Mike as the OLB to center the 'focus' of your blocking to the right. U don't actually ID the blitzing DB, himself. You're 'shifting the focus' of the blocking to center around the Mike.
So, I'm just curious whether they simplified it some, or if these tweets and tweet video, they're just quickly saying, "u ID the blitzer to pick him up." U know? Because, this will make a little difference. I believe they'll have a tutorial on it, so hopefully it explains this little variance.

That was my question also. Id the Mike means finding the center defender, not the Blitzer. When I heard others talking about it, they made it sound like they are identifying the Blitzer...?

That's why I've always wanted to be able to see who's on defense when I go to the coach cam

It appear it is about protecting around a particular blitzer. Could be useful. I hope they have QB voices calling out the number though.
I'm curious how identifying the mike will work with a 3-4. You need to identify which OLB is coming every down, so are you identifying the 4th rusher if you're facing a 3-4, as opposed to identifying a 5th rusher if you're facing a 4-3?

It's precisely the same. 7 men are accounted for by virually every protection/pattern. You just need to determine which one your line needs to be aware of; ie whoever a back can't get too and a hot route can't exploit.

Unless you're talking Odd, 3-4 fronts and 4-3 fronts are equivalent. It's just a personnel package. The fronts themselves are the same thing and handled the same way.
