Just because WWE 2K26 has finally launched doesn’t mean that the content train is stopping anytime soon. While the game does have plenty of content to start with, including dozens of match types, wrestlers, and more, 2K has plans to release a slew of additional updates in the coming months. These updates will work a little differently than they have in the past, and that’s primarily attributed to the new Ringside Pass.
The Ringside Pass is changing up how WWE 2K delivers content to the player base after launch, and it should mean players get access to more in-game items, especially if they’re willing to pay for the premium version.
Before the Ringside Pass comes, though, we need to know when the post-launch updates are going to be released in WWE 2K26. Below, you can find a full schedule for the upcoming DLC updates.
WWE 2K26 DLC Release Dates And Full Schedule
Just like many other live-service games on the market, WWE 2K26 is going to be adopting a seasonal strategy for its post-launch updates. Every month or two, a new season will replace the old season and deliver an all-new offering of content.
At the heart of these seasons will be the Ringside Passes, which are very similar to Battle Passes in other games like Fortnite and Call of Duty. Every season, a Ringside Pass will include 120 total rewards that players can earn by playing WWE 2K26 or paying real money for tier skips.

There are 40 free tiers and 40 premium tiers on each Ringside Pass, and the premium tiers can only be unlocked if you spend $10 for the premium version of the pass. The premium version will include DLC Superstars as well, and this should bring back some of the missing Superstars that aren’t included with the launch of 2K26.
Naturally, if you paid for the DLC in previous WWE 2K games, then this new system likely won’t affect you too much. You’ll still have to buy the premium version of the Ringside Pass, but there will be some additional grinding involved if you want to progress through all of the tiers and unlock every piece of content available.
The same is true for players who just use the free version of the pass, but there’s not as much grinding involved, seeing as you only have to earn half of the possible rewards.
With all of that said, let’s get into when you can expect each new season in WWE 2K26 to arrive. Right now, we just have tentative release windows for every post-launch season, but these dates could easily change in the future, so take them with a grain of salt for now.
Here’s the current post-launch DLC schedule for WWE 2K26:
- Season 1 – March 6/13 2026 (early access on March 6, worldwide launch on March 13)
- Season 2 – April 2026 (in time for WrestleMania 42)
- Season 3 – June 2026
- Season 4 – July 2026
- Season 5 – September 2026
- Season 6 – October 2026
Beyond Season 6, we don’t know if/when any additional seasons will be released. Right now, 2K has confirmed that six Ringside Passes are coming to WWE 2K26, which means that six seasons are in the works. While more DLC aside from Ringside Passes could arrive after Season 6, it’s likely that the season will mark the end for any major post-launch content.
Fortunately, Ringside Passes don’t expire in WWE 2K26, so you never have to worry about trying to earn all of the rewards on a given pass before a new season is released. This means you can spend extra time at the end of the year unlocking any content that you might have missed out on in the earlier seasons.
And that does it for everything you need to know about the post-launch DLC schedule in WWE 2K26.
