General managers are the backbones of a successful show, and even more so when it comes to WWE 2K26’s MyGM mode. Unlike Universe Mode, you’re only responsible for the show you’re running, but that just means lower ratings are not an option.
The very first choice players must make when starting a MyGM save file is choosing a general manager to play with. Why? Because every general manager has a special power that will help you throughout the season. Each power aids a different playstyle: some help with contracts, others with injuries. But some undoubtedly stand apart. Today, I’ll be talking about the best general managers to go with in WWE 2K26 MyGM mode and how they help you succeed.
How Many General Managers Are There?

There are 20 different general managers in the game, including the three newly added options. You have notable names like Stephanie McMahon, Paul Heyman, Nick Pearce, etc. If you want to be part of the action, you’re free to pick ex-wrestlers like Shawn Michaels or CM Punk.
WWE 2K26 also added a new general manager this year called Annonymous GM, which is a fun pick we’ll go over, as well as the option to create a custom general manager. I won’t add the custom general manager to the list simply because it depends on player preferences and experience. Remember that the main goal of MyGM mode is to have better ratings than the opposing shows.
Now, out of these 19 (excluding the custom general manager) general managers, which of them are objectively better than the others? Let’s take a look.
Best MyGM Mode General Managers In WWE 2K26

Stacy Kiebler
Special Power (Standards & Practices): x3 per Season, select an opposing brand. 2 random permanent Superstars from their brand will be fired next week and do not return any Contract Cost. Can’t be used in the last week of a season.
One of the latest additions to the general managers in WWE 2K26, Stacy Kiebler is definitely a top pick when it comes to useful special powers. Her special power, Standards & Practices, lets you fire two random superstars from an opposing brand. Now, I will say that this is a coin flip at times since firing two deadweight superstars would be doing them a favour.
However, if the ability hits its mark and takes out the showrunners, that will result in a drastic drop in the show’s ratings. Considering you can do this thrice per season, you’re bound to get at least a few big names. The more, the better. In my opinion, this special power is slightly overpowered, but abuse it as much as you can until they change it.
Xavier Woods
Special Power (Cheat Code): x2 per Season, select a Superstar from an opposing brand’s roster. They will permanently join your roster next week. The selected Superstar may not be a title holder. Not usable in the first or last week of a season.
Another pick you can’t go wrong with is Xavier Woods. While Stacy’s power was random, Xavier Woods allows you to target a popular superstar and sign them on for your show. This has two major advantages: not only will you get a fan favourite to increase your ratings, but you’ll also simultaneously be taking away one critical superstar from the opposing brand.
This power can be used in a variety of ways. Since it says the superstar can’t be a title holder, you could always target the No. 1 contender for major titles. Take those away, and it tanks the show’s ratings automatically. The same goes for rivalries. If there’s a rivalry fans are closely following, take away one of the characters and fans will be left wanting more.
Xavier Woods’s Cheat Code is definitely a much more strategic move compared to Stacy Kiebler’s Standards & Practices, since you’re not shooting in the dark. Twice per season, you’ll need to make a conscious choice on who to snag from the opposing show to benefit you, as well as be detrimental to your opponent.
Stephanie McMahon
Special Power (The McMahon Presence): x2 per Season, earn twice as much money from Arena Attendance this week.
Who doesn’t like money, right? Especially when money is what runs your shows. The lights, theatrics, and of course, superstar salaries. If budgeting is an issue you run into frequently, Stephanie McMahon might be the general manager for you. Stephanie’s special power, The McMahon Presence, allows you to earn twice as much money from Arena Attendance for an entire week. With two charges per season, you could generate four times the revenue.
While this is a really strong special power, you’ll need to play your cards right if you want it to work. Plan your premium live events ahead of time and make sure you have your biggest names battling it out. The names? Big. Stakes? High. Energy? Through the roof. That’s how you’ll make the most of this special power and forget about not having enough budget anymore.
Miss Elizabeth
Special Power (Mega Power): x2 per Season, select a Superstar on your brand and immediately max out their Popularity, Stamina, and Morale.
You don’t always have to target the opposing show’s superstars; sometimes, it’s better to cast the spotlight on your own roster. That’s exactly what Miss Elizabeth’s special power, Mega Power, does. It allows you to select a superstar and max out their stats for the rest of the season. This can be phenomenal if you act accordingly.
Now, a lot of top superstars already have pretty high Popularity, Stamina, and Morale. It’s not worth using it on a superstar simply because they have low stamina or morale. But sometimes, especially in cases of rivalries, lower-rated superstars come into the spotlight. This is the perfect time to use Mega Power on them. They will be energetic, loved by the audience, and be able to thoroughly expose the full rivalry.
Other cases where the power might come in handy are during debuts. Some superstars don’t have a successful debut, but you see the potential in them. If that’s the case, hit them with Mega Power and let them shine to their max potential; it will hopefully pay off in the long run.
