Smarter Blocking, Better Strategy

Blocking now comes with more risk. The longer players hold the block button, the more damage their guard takes. Holding block for too long will also slow down recovery after throwing a punch, making it easier for opponents to break through a predictable defense. These tweaks are part of a broader effort to refine the balance between offense and defense.

Capitalizing on Stunned Opponents

Players should find it easier to land big shots on dazed opponents. AI reaction times have been adjusted, creating a more realistic window to capitalize before the opponent recovers. However, swinging wildly still comes at a cost as stamina management remains key.

Instant Replay for Online KOs

Knockout highlights are getting a boost. When both players have instant replay enabled, KOs in online fights can now be rewatched from three cinematic angles, perfect for reliving (and sharing) those highlight-reel moments.

Customization & Career Mode Updates

  • No More Stat Caps: Created boxers can now reach max stats and equip any trait, though these overpowered fighters will only be available in offline play.
  • Career Mode Roster Control: Players can now decide which licensed fighters appear or fill out the roster with created boxers.
  • Fighter Prime Option: Fighters aging out before a player reaches their peak? A new option ensures key opponents stay in their prime for those legacy-defining matchups.
  • Pre-Fight Customization: Gloves, shorts, boots, taunts and ring walks can now be edited before each career mode fight with changes carrying over to future bouts.

New Venues

Three new locations are being added:

  • Riyadh Season Gym – A nod to the city’s growing boxing scene.
  • Café Royal, London – A historic venue linked to the Queensbury Rules and Muhammad Ali.
  • The Observatory, Orlando – A futuristic arena with a 24,000-fan capacity.
