Easy Day Studios has released their Skater XL Oshawa Arena map update today. The fictitious map was created by Brookzee99, inspired by real-world local skate parks from the Oshawa, Canada region. The goal was to capture the essence of competitive skateboarding courses featuring obstacles and elements found in many competitive skateboard venues. As always, the map has been optimized for performance by Easy Day Studios.
The Skater XL Oshawa Arena map is available to download from the Mod Browser on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will also be the featured skate park map this weekend for the FakeSkate Open Live Contest, the first Skater XL online esports skateboarding event.
The event takes place this Saturday, February 5 at 12:00 PM PT. Eight of the best “fake skaters” from each console platform around the world will go head-to-head live online for cash prizes and internet fame. Fans can watch the event on Twitch.
