EA has released Skate update 0.30.2, continuing its focus on gameplay tweaks following the start of Season 3. The team has been working through several issues players called out, including double grinds, pop less grind exits, low pop height and grind assist. Most of those areas have been addressed but double grinds are still being worked on.

The team shared that popout double grinds are expected to return in update 0.30.5. While they were originally considered a glitch, the developers acknowledged the appeal and noted that player feedback played a role in bringing them back. More time is needed to make sure they function properly alongside the updated grind popouts. Check out the full patch notes below.

UI

- Developer’s Note: Due to a change in how we store settings, some settings were unintentionally changed in Update 0.30.1. Players who were affected will need to readjust to their previous settings, but should not have to re-save after this update. With Update 0.30.2, this bug fix should more reliably save changes you make to settings. We’ll continue to monitor this fix closely.
- Fixed an issue where the Welcome and Starter Park bundles in the store accidentally displayed strikethrough UI.
- Fixed an issue that prevented some Achievements or Trophies from unlocking correctly.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Barrel Jumper title from being awarded to subscribers as part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Supercharge Pack 3, and PlayStation Plus Essentials Season 3 Play Pack.
- Developer’s Note: Anyone who’s already redeemed their Xbox or PlayStation subscription rewards will now see this title amongst their Rip Card options after updating skate.
