The wait’s officially over as Full Circle and EA have officially unveiled Season 3 of skate. with a brand-new trailer showcasing everything new that’s coming to the game. The update goes live on 10th March on all platforms. The season takes us to 70s-inspired San Vansterdam and adds new tricks, Isle Of Grom, cosmetics, and a bunch more.
Season 3 updates look to be much bigger and more varied than Season 2. There is a lot more to check out, so let’s get into it.
Skate Season 3 – Everything New

The highlight of Season 3 is the brand new 70s-inspired San Vansterdam, an Isle of Grom, aka the tutorial island. Ever since the release, fans have been requesting Full Circle to allow players to go back to the tutorial island, and with Season 3, that request has now been fulfilled. Isle of Grom will be locked behind a paywall after a few weeks, but for now, everyone can enjoy it for free.
The area includes new challenges, objectives, and lines for players to discover. For longtime fans of the franchise, Isle of Grom is designed as a nostalgic throwback while still fitting into the evolving open-world structure of skate.
Season 3 also introduces several gameplay additions aimed at expanding both creativity and competition.
A brand-new Speedlines game mode challenges players to race through technical skate routes and time-trial style courses across both San Vansterdam and Isle of Grom. Speedlines is similar to traditional line-based objectives, but this time around, the focus is on speed, rather than the quality of tricks.
On top of that, Season 3 also adds a new tricks category called Dark Tricks. There are Dark variants of many standard tricks, like Darkslides and darkflips. Check out the Skatepedia to see the full list of tricks. Existing moves like Boneless tricks have also received improvements to make them more responsive and fluid during gameplay.
Customization also receives a big boost. Players will now be able to create skater loadouts, allowing them to save full outfits, boards, and style setups for quick switching. You can make 3 loadouts, and can buy more from the store if needed.
Additionally, tattoos are finally arriving in the game, with customizable placement, rotation, and scaling options for arms and legs.
Lastly, the Replay Editor is also getting a massive update. There is a new Effects tab to play around with that lets you adjust colors, audio, and a lot more of your clips.
A Bigger skate. Pass And Brand Collaborations

Season 3 also refreshes the game’s progression system through an updated skate.Pass. The pass now features over 100 tiers of unlockable items across free and premium tracks, including boards, stickers, trucks, and cosmetic gear.
The update also introduces branded gear from major skate culture companies like Vans, adidas, and Thrasher, expanding the list of real-world collaborations available to players.
For players who want faster progression, a new Premium Pass+ option provides additional currency to accelerate unlocks.
