He also mentioned OOTP 23 will be released in April, instead of the usual March release, due to some unexpected technical infrastructure challenges.

On the news side, this is normally the time of year we’d be officially announcing our newest Out of the Park Baseball game and starting pre-orders. This season though, things will be starting a bit later than usual. We’ve had some unexpected technical infrastructure challenges that have thrown us a few extra curveballs. We want to be sure that our launch this year is as strong and stable as our previous versions have proven to be, and we will need a little extra time to make sure that happens. This means, we will not be releasing the game in March as in the previous years, but rather we expect to be ready in April.
