You would think after having 4.5 sacks last week Myles Garrett would be 99 overall before a kicker but not with this company lol.

More disappointed JOK didn't get a bigger bump. Highest rated linebacker in football by PFF after 3 weeks.

Agree with this. A 98 overall player having a monster game should be expected. But JOK has been lighting it up. Been doing great in pass coverage, reading plays and shedding blocks in the run game. Dude needs a serious bump.
If you want to get your defensive players a big boost, just play the bears. I am a bears fan by the way(right now I am embarrassed to say)

Jaguars ratings are a joke. We're improving week to week, and they are just dropping our players.
Logan Cooke has played fantastic this year.
I dont see why they've lowered Lawrence every week.
    Look at last night.
With our poor roster on Defense we held a lead on the Bengles, who are leading their division, until the last few seconds.

I guess Myles* Garrett will never be a 99 OVR lol. If a career high 4.5 sacks in one game dont get you up by a point what will

Consistency? He has 5.5 on the year, meaning he had only 1 sack prior.
Look, I know Browns fans love him, and he IS a great player, but 99 overall is for pass rushers who have won Defensive Player of the Year three times, like Aaron Donald. Honestly there are too many 99s. Imho it should consist of Donald and Mahomes and no one else.

Nothing new. No matter what we do they rarely upgrade our players realistically until the next release. Once we win awards or recognized as top 3 at any position, we will get a boost at that point. Refs don't respect us so why should madden.

Trevon Diggs, who was just selected NFC Defensive Player of the month and just showed out on Monday Night Football, is a 75 over and rated the same as teammate Anthony Brown, who is literally a mediocre at best CB.

Leads the league in INTs too. And if you listen to guys like Bucky & DJ break down his tape he is way more than just a stat machine. There's no reason for him to be rated so low.
Week 4 and we still don’t have player pictures for dozens of rookies, including first rounder’s like Bucs Joe Tryon-Shoyinka. This has literally no work needed on adjusting ratings. Just continued laziness by EA on a significant, immersion-breaking part of the game.
If they were worth two ****s they would update them like face scans where you don’t need to restart a franchise to take effect. It makes sense though, if they did, everyone would use a rock-solid roster like The Franchise Guy’s instead of the turd they churn out week in and week out.
I literally took time out of my day to make this comment because I know some EA roster manager will likely see it. So from one regretful, disgruntled customer: **** you EA and **** you too NFL for limiting your fan’s representation of the sport to such incompetence.

Only a 75 would be capable of getting two more INTs to continue to lead the league.

He'll get that superstar bump this week!
And go up to an exciting 77 overall.
I never understood why he was buried on the depth chart on the original rosters at like a 71 or 72 over. He wasn't amazing as a rookie but he always trended upward and undoubtedly was Dallas' best CB coming into the season so I don't know why they rated him lower than Jourdan Lewis and Anthony Brown, etc.
This might be your answer, just don't shoot the messenger if you disagree:
Appreciate it, I'm a Diggs fan but his ball skills overshadow some of the errors he makes, he is definitely.on the uptick this year though for sure

These guys get so into their role of "grinding that tape" that they overthink stuff that is clear to actual talent evaluators. I'll admit that I don't watch all-22 film of Diggs, but guys in the league that I respect do and they say he is shredding this year. We see this so often where the devs are so touchy about their initial grades and they're unwilling to change it cuz they think it is an admission that they were wrong originally. Nobody cares about right or wrong, they just need to do a better job rating players now. CMAC has missed how many games the last two years and he still has a 94 INJ rating cuz EG wants Henry to be #2 so his agenda is satisfied and he doesn't have to admit his error. It is what it is. Just wish these guys would do a better job instead of overrating their ability to grade players.

I would like for him to expand on these "errors" Diggs' makes.
Wrong socks on game day? Jersey untucked a little? Too emotionally invested in his game?

Imagine that, a Cowboy fan holding back Diggs.
    And there you have it:
    From EA Madden:
5 INTs in 4 games Exploding head

Who else deserves a #Madden22 ratings increase

Kind of hard to justify player ratings going up on a team that’s winless

Jaguars should get a nice bump next week with how good they looked.
Our O-Line especially has played great so far. Didn't seem to miss a beat when Bartch stepped in at RG.
They've played a brutal schedule to start, and have looked better each week.

They won't even bump the league's best CB beyond a 75 right now. No way they're bumping up an 0-4 team with the world's dumbest coach.

There's a thought (I don't necessarily agree with it) that Diggs plays a really boom-or bust style of coverage. Overly aggressive, can bite on things like double-moves.
I think the "yardage" he's given up that guys like EquipmentGuru cite are situations where he wasn't playing man, but zone coverage near a player that ended up with a catch. His man skills and ball skills are undeniable, though

Jalen Ramsey would like a word. lol
    (I get your drift, though)

So, I was completely defending the wrong Diggs apparently.
    My bad.

Although it wouldn't stop people from being homers because that's what homers do, I would love if EA was allowed by the NFL to show the tape that they use to evaluate players. The excuses people would make for all the mistakes that their guys make would comedic gold.

Madden should come with a free subscription to gamepass and the All 22 film.

I was about to say what happened to Ramsey lol. Diggs is top 10 CB. He has giving up a lot also but also made some great plays

I would love to know which player this is about... because everyone knows Diggs is criminally underrated. And I'm not sure that the generic homer line can apply when I'm saying that about someone on the team I hate more than any other team.
