The NHL 23 trial is available today for EA Play subscribers allowing fans to play the full game for 10 hours. Just make sure you completely close out of the game prior to shutting down your console.
If you can’t access the NHL 23 early access trial from the links below, try searching for NHL 23 from your console in the Xbox and PlayStation Stores. If you’re an EA Play subscriber you should see the trial available to you. If you are not seeing it, try again a little later as it might not be available in your region yet.

After the 10 hour trial ends you can save 10% on purchasing the full game and all of your saved progress will be carried over. EA Play is included with the Xbox Games Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass PC subscription, at no additional cost.
