We posted our next-gen review for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 earlier this week, but Digital Foundry remains the go-to place for graphical and technical comparisons. Those fine folks took THPS 1+2 through its paces, showcasing the 120 fps and other quality-of-life improvements that make this remake shred even more on the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The frame rate boost and dip in loading times are enough to make this a nice upgrade in the technical department, but there’s plenty more on top of that here. When put together, the whole package really helps to sell this remake as the blueprint for how to do remakes in the sports genre moving forward.
