NBA 2K21 Patch #7 Available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4

NBA 2K21 patch #7 is available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The update includes the 2K Foundation Inspired court at 2K Beach, along with new seasonal decorations. They also added another set of player likeness updates for current NBA players.

We don’t have a full list of players that were included in the player likeness update, but our friends from r/NBA2K found an updated Tyrese Haliburton.

Other than that, the rest of the patch notes include MyTEAM issues that were addressed. Check out the patch notes below.

GENERAL

  • 2K Foundation Inspired court at 2K Beach along with new seasonal decorations.
  • Updated another set of player likenesses for current NBA players.

MyTEAM

  • Addressed a rare issue with Dark Matter player cards not displaying the player reveal during pack openings
  • Addressed an audio issue with Dark Matter card animations
  • Addressed a name display issue for some playbook cards
  • Additional various preparations for upcoming additions to MyTEAM

    I can’t seem to find the patch notes for the full 20.38 GB.... Where’s the rest of it?
    Okay Where can I find a list of things they’re not going to address for 2k21? Just so that people don’t get their hopes up

    I feel stupid being optimistic about this patch but this should have been enough time to add the city courts and the missing city jerseys. And I'm hopeful about the player likenesses updates but there goes my optimism again 🤦🏾*♂️🤷🏾*♂️

    I was really hoping to see an option to play the current 72 game season in MyNBA. Maybe there's still a chance in the upcoming Next Gen update, but if it wasn't included in this patch then it seems unlikely.

    That's never gonna happen... They addressed this a few months ago when everyone was asking about the nba today feature... They couldn't integrate the nba schedule into the game at all for current or next gen

    Not a single AAA sports games has integrated COVID-specific rules and season structures in their franchise or career modes.

    Has anyone figured out who else has been updated? I'm really hoping Derrick White finally gets some love and was updated with long hair + a headband.
    He and Rudy Gay (needs short hair like Murray & Walker IV) are the only two Spurs that look off from their IRL counterparts.

    But yet it was done years ago on PC for NBA Live 2000(I believe) when they had the strike shortened season.

    why is a "2k beach" Update considered General? General, for me, is Stuff that matters for everyone, Not only for the Park community...
    and let me Guess, we still need to disable ACE at the Start of every online game, still need to wait until the next timeout for matchup changes to take effect, still need to ignore the Pause matchup Menu in fear of a disconnect?

    20 GB it likely is only for consoles as consoles are Not optimized very Well. on PC These patches are below 1 gb

    Still not available for next gen either, very frustrating!

    When they will add the range extender badge to Kristaps Porzingod? Just to speak about one of the long overdue ones...
    The guy has incredible range and he is making logo shots almost every game... I hate when you cannot emulate a player in NBA2k due to the roster builders not putting enough attention to players's real game...
    Are those things not been showed in the stats or what?

    Any non cosmetic Next Gen improvements? Like Rec Matchmaking or Defensive adjustments to remove the quicksand your defender seems to be stuck in when you try to react to the offense?
