MLB The Show 25 Update #4 Available Today - Patch Notes

MLB The Show 25 game update 1.04 is available today on all platforms adding the 2025 Houston Astros and Washington Nationals City Connect uniforms while addressing a few issues across different modes. According to the community, the “ground ball to right field” commentary bug has been fixed and the overly frequent “Let’s Go” crowd chant has been toned down. However, Stadium Creator remains broken, check out the full patch notes below along with some additional notes from the community.

GENERAL

• 2025 Houston Astros and Washington Nationals City Connect uniforms have been added. 
• More fixes were made to prevent a crash that could occur from certain hits to the outfield.  
• Fixed an issue that would crop the viewable screen area incorrectly on PS5. 
• Various crash fixes and stability improvements. 

GAMEPLAY

• Fixed an issue with Mound Visits: Resolved a few freezes that could occur in online head-to-head and co-op. 
• Fixed an issue causing a lefty first baseman to use a righty pickoff tag. 

FRANCHISE AND MARCH TO OCTOBER

• Fixed a bug where the Detroit Tigers’ uniforms were set to ‘spring training’ for every game. 

DIAMOND QUEST

• Peanuts will now carry over between maps. 
• Added an in-game warning to let the user know the repercussions from quitting out of a game or challenge. 

STORYLINES 

• The “Blazing Speed” moment can now be completed for users that have ShowTime opportunities turned off. 

AUDIO AND COMMENTARY

• Fixed an issue that caused incorrect commentary to be frequently repeated. 

DEVELOPER NOTES 

• There are no gameplay or live content balance changes in this update. 

Here are some notes from the community on what they have noticed since the patch released this morning. Let us know what you’re seeing.

• Yeah – Show Network ticker is still bugged. It only shows itself once you get deep enough into a season to start seeing the league leader graphics, but once the first loop completes and it reappears the Batting Average leaders will get stuck on screen while other items slide behind it. Same as before. – bcruise

• Thankfully the update fixed the constant “lets go” crowd chants. More organ sounds etc now. Much better. – reth316
• No new equipment from this patch. Kind of a bummer. Not much to write home about on equipment this year – CBoller1331
• I think the Stadium Creator issue is a much larger one than something that can be fixed in an early patch. It’d be one thing if certain aspects of the stadiums didn’t work or the previous year issues where the memory amount was messed up. The vault doesn’t work at all, which leads me to believe that it’s a much larger issue. I doubt they are being “very lazy” on a feature that has been one of the top areas of their game the last 3 years. – MiracleMet718
