Over the weekend, PlayStation posted some MLB The Show 25 screenshots on its Store page, but they’ve since been removed. However, these images have spread across the internet, sparking numerous discussions about what it actually means for current-generation consoles and the Nintendo Switch.

Most fans agree that the graphics are essentially the same, with some lighting improvements. The models, grass, dirt and other elements appear unchanged. The gameplay trailer, set to arrive tomorrow at noon EST, will give us a clearer picture and confirm what San Diego Studios has up their sleeve.
A series of weekly feature reveals will be released leading up to launch, including in-depth deep dives hosted by MLB Network’s Robert Flores, as well as the return of Feature Premieres from the San Diego Studio development team. Until then, all we can do is speculate.
