Ways To Increase The Chances Of Getting Traded In MLB The Show 25

There are two ways to increase the chances of receiving a trade.

• Playing well throughout the season and waiting for agents to notice you.
• Upping the ‘Trading Frequency’ slider in the game settings.

Remember that both these methods work only for the Major leagues, since trades rarely occur in the Minors. Your best bet for finding your dream team and getting noticed is clutching a ticket to the big leagues. That said, let’s break down both of these methods and explain how to get traded in MLB The Show 25.

Playing Well And Getting Noticed

The first method is pretty simple, and all it requires is some extra effort. If you want to get traded to a better team, you’ll need to stand out in your current one. This means mitigating losses, making fewer mistakes, and playing better overall, be it having a high batting average or a low ERA on the mound.

Once your stats go up, agents from better teams will start eyeing you and eventually make you an offer. The downside of this method is that it takes longer for agents to notice you. Increasing The ‘Trading Frequency’ Setting

If you’re not one for patience and want to start receiving offers right away, this method is for you. As the name suggests, you’ll be increasing the trading frequency with this method. Once increased, agents will send out trade offers weekly, and you can easily get drafted into your desired team. To do this, follow these steps. 

• Enter the Road to the Show mode and open the Settings menu.
• Scroll down until you see the ‘Trading Frequency’ setting slider.
• Slide it to the far right and head back to the game.

By increasing the trading frequency, you should receive trade offers more frequently. While this is a faster way to get traded, some have complained in the past of it leading to too many trades. That said, you can always turn the setting down once you’ve finally escaped the South Side of Chicago or Sacramento (c’mon, we know why you’re here).
