The MLB Postseason is here. So anyone who ardently plays Diamond Dynasty in MLB The Show 25 can reasonably expect some amazing endgame quality content in the near future. But content isn’t the only thing Diamond Dynasty players can expect.
As is usual, MLB The Show 25 has been releasing some amazing cards that require completing a Program to unlock. Such examples include Mike Trout’s 400 Home Run Milestone card, or the latest Doc Halladay (who has a ridiculous cutter). To complete the Programs and attain these cards, players are required to complete Moments and Stat Missions, the latter of which requires Player XP (PXP) to complete.
Collecting PXP is typically the most time-consuming aspect of finishing programs. But for the next month or so, MLB The Show 25 is making it easier to accrue.
MLB The Show 25 Will Reward Players With Double PXP For Over A Month
From September 30 through November 4, MLB The Show 25 Diamond Dynasty players will receive double PXP. As mentioned before, this is perfect for anyone that’s still grinding Programs in search of players for Collections, or simply to insert into their team.
On top of that, promotions like Double PXP mean that players who can’t afford to hop onto The Show every day have a way to make up the difference. We’ve complained about how weird the grind has been this year, with countless Collections, most of which require expensive cards found only in packs to complete. But, for the next month, grinding should be easier, if only by a bit.
We’re still waiting to see which players are granted special Postseason-themed cards. Beyond that, the yearly Team Affinity Finest Series (which I’m sure will come with a Collection of its own) should be dropping soon as well. So be sure to stay tuned for any and all updates regarding those promotions.
