Headliners Set 29 Future Stars Max Meyer replaces Future Stars Austin Martin in Headliners packs today. He is a 97 overall.
Max Meyer does not look like anything too special, especially considering all the other goodies we got today. He has a four-pitch mix, and we’ll have to see how “nerfed” sinkers got in the latest patch to really see how he looks overall. Still, a 4-seam, slider, changeup, sinker combination is nothing special. He has 106 H/9 to go with a 99 mph fastball without outlier. He only has plus-plus control of the fastball and slider, so again, I’m very wary of this card being good at all.
Still, as I always say, I buy every Future Stars card because I love prospects, so he’ll still be on the squad.

The odds on the Headliners packs remain the same as always, so good luck if you try getting him in packs as you’ll have a 1:10 chance at a diamond, albeit that diamond might not be Future Stars Max Meyer.
