Wyatt Langford, OF, Texas Rangers

Wyatt Langford got off to an incredible start in 2025 but has cooled since. His .160 batting average in the past 14 days makes him a risk in DFS contests. But daily fantasy baseball is about matchups more than anything, and Langford’s Rangers get the lowly Colorado Rockies today. Kyle Freeland has an ERA well over six, and if Langford can get on base, he can use his speed. He’s still an expensive option because of his hot start, but Langford might be worth the risk today.

Landon Knack, SP, Dodgers

Knack isn’t having a great season, and the Athletics can score runs. However, he remains a viable option due to the low cost of adding him to your roster. The Dodgers righty is only $6500 in DraftKings leagues, which leaves you a lot of upside and potential to add elsewhere in your lineup. Don’t expect a 30-point night, but Landon Knack should perform well enough to make you not regret it.

Kyle Tucker, OF, Chicago Cubs

This is cheating—Kyle Tucker is always a good pick in DFS contests. Tucker has been the second-highest costing outfielder in recent weeks, and he has cooled a bit after his hot start. But, he’s hitting .750 against scheduled Marlins starter Vallente Bellozo. That counts for something.

Jordan Lawlar, SS, Arizona Diamondbacks

Jordan Lawlar is another high-risk, high-reward pick. The Diamondbacks DFA’d Garrett Hampson to make room for Lawlar. The highly touted prospect got a brief taste of the majors last year, and didn’t do a lot in the 14 games he played. Still, at the minimum cost in DraftKings contests, Lawlar and his skill set are worth the risk against Robbie Ray and the Giants.
