With the launch of JDM: Japanese Drift Master just around the corner, developer Gaming Factory has shared a new gameplay video focusing on the campaign and showing off some never-before-seen footage.
The clip, taken from the final moments of Chapter 01, features Touma facing off with Scorpion. It gives a clearer idea of how the game plays moment to moment, offering a raw preview of what players will experience on the road.
Touma, a Polish drifter chasing a second chance, is the focus in JDM: Japanese Drift Master. After landing in Japan, he quickly finds himself deep in the local street racing scene, gaining recognition by mastering the art of the drift and navigating a web of personal rivalries.
Players can explore the fictional Guntama Prefecture between missions, starting each session in the garage before heading out to drive. Key story events are marked on the map and begin with manga-inspired cutscenes that lead straight into the action.
- Drift, Grip and Drag Events:Â Compete in drifting showdowns where style reigns supreme, or go full throttle in grip races focused on speed.
- Dynamic Objectives: Some races require both flair and speed—players will need to adapt.
- Diverse Challenges:Â From making sushi deliveries to getting chased by enemies, story events go beyond traditional racing.
- Freedom of Exploration:Â Between missions, explore the vibrant open world of Guntama at your own pace.
Players can get behind the wheel on May 21 when JDM: Japanese Drift Master arrives on Steam.
