Hardest Tracks in Forza Motorsport, Ranked

Precision is key.

While the Forza Horizon series gives an arcade-ish open world freedom to the players, Forza Motorsport provides them with a professional race car experience.

Long celebrated for its realistic driving physics, insanely long car roster, and meticulously designed tracks, the game is a haven for motorsport freaks. But, among these tracks lie certain courses that are not only visually impressive — they’re incredibly challenging to master. That said, I bring you a curated list of the hardest tracks in Forza Motorsport.

Nurburgring Nordschleife

  • Distance: 12.93 mi (20.81km)
  • Turns: 154
  • Location: Germany

Also known as the Green Hell, the Nurburgring Nordschleife easily stands as the longest and trickiest track featured in Forza Motorsport. With over 150 turns, sudden and dramatic elevation changes, and tricky corners, this track is a true test of endurance and precision.

Catering a corner or two, and you’ll think that you have mastered this course. However, the sheer transitions you have to deal with from fast, long straights to a heavy-braking, tight corner can quickly put you through barriers. This, along with the insanely long distance you have to cover, can put you through a never-ending loop with numerous crashes.

Fujimi Kaido

  • Distance: 10.2 mi (16.42km)
  • Turns: 144
  • Location: Japan

Fujimi Kaido is a fictional paved Japanese serpentine where your car control is constantly tested. Consists of 144 turns, it’s a driver’s track where raw speed is useless unless you don’t know how to control it.

Road width is significantly low, leaving zero margin for error since you have no extra room to correct your slide by going off track. Straights are fewer, with corners and hairpins consisting of the entire track, providing an overwhelming experience. The track barely has any line where you can stop steering and rest. In addition to this, blind corners and steep elevation changes further make this track a nightmare to drive without proper skills.

Spa-Francorchamps

  • Distance: 4.35 mi (7km)
  • Turns: 20
  • Location: Belgium

At the heart of Belgium lies a legendary race track, Circuit De Spa-Francorchamps. This course also stands as the most nerve-wracking place in Forza Motorsport to compete on. Although the corners are only 20, each packs a distinct challenge.

High-speed turns such as Eau Rouge and Blanchimont must be taken at higher speeds, but with pinpoint accuracy. One wrong move and you end up behind barriers due to under- or oversteer. Massive elevation changes result in unforgiving braking zones, such as La Source. Messing up a single zone can cause a chain reaction for multiple zones afterwards. It’s a track that begs confidence behind the wheel, which takes time to master.

Sebring International Raceway

Image: Playground Games
  • Distance: 3.7 mi (5.95km)
  • Turns: 17
  • Location: United States of America

Built on a former World War II surface, the Sebring International Raceway is the oldest yet hardest track to master. It may seem bearable at first, but once you continue driving, it can get jarring pretty quickly.

Thanks to its infamously bumpy surface, maintaining control over your car requires serious skills and suspension setup. The braking zones are heavy, but the bumpy floor treats you with little to no grip, leading to lockups and understeer. Still, if you somehow manage the whole track smoothly, the final corner, Sunset Bend, is there waiting for you to destroy your lap time by leading you to a wall or causing a spinout.

WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca

Image: Playground Games
  • Distance: 2.24 mi (3.6km)
  • Turns: 11
  • Location: United States of America

This is one of those short lap, high-pressure tracks that are relatively less in distance but demand a ton of precision, car control, and courage to be aced. It’s a short track that demands full attention and punishes the smallest errors.

The sole reason why Laguna Seca is usually avoided by players is the famous Turn 8, the Corkscrew. It’s a blind chicane with dramatic elevation change (almost 60 feet) that can be easily misjudged. Braking discipline is the key to survival here, as Turn 2 and Turn 11 may seem wide, but require technicalities. Similarly, Turn 4 and Turn 9 demand momentum, as any hiccups can significantly harm your lap times.

Virginia International Raceway

  • Distance: 3.27 mi (5.26km)
  • Turns: 17
  • Location: United States of America

When it comes to difficulty, Virginia International Raceway stands as an underrated circuit in Forza Motorsport. Situated in the countryside of Virginia, don’t get fooled by its stunning scenery — this track is brutal.

The layout is extremely technical, and slaps you with constant corner sequences such as Snake, Climbing Esses, and the famous Roller Coaster. The surface is not flat either, leaving your car light on crests with less grip. In addition to these hardships, limited run-off areas leave no room for mistakes and can quickly lead you to spins or crashes. Overall, this track demands patience with insane driving skills, otherwise, your small flaws can pose significant issues.

Long Beach Circuit

  • Distance: 1.97 mi (3.17km)
  • Turns: 11
  • Location: United States of America

Being a street circuit, challenges are in its DNA. Long Beach circuit is one of the hardest tracks as it’s narrow, unforgiving, and packed with technical sections.

Laps are short, around 1:20 minutes on many cars, which means a costly mistake can add a high amount of time, causing pressure. Memorizing the track is vital, or you can lose confidence at blind corners or straight up crash. Hairpins are tight and require heavy braking, especially at Turn 1 and the final Turn 11. These, combined with the typical features of a street circuit such as narrow spaces and no run-off areas, make the track less appealing to casual racers.

Hockenheimring

Image: Playground Games
  • Distance: 2.84 mi (4.57km)
  • Turns: 17
  • Location: Germany

While Hockenheimring is not as quick and long as the other hardcore tracks, it’s still a pain to casuals due to heavy braking zones and tight technical sections.

The track puts you in an unpredictable position. It lands you on a speedy straight where one can easily be fooled into thinking that it will continue for a while. However, it slaps you with a heavy braking zone immediately, resulting in a barrier or lockups. Similarly, the first corner (Motodrom) provides such a low grip that it can ruin your race, even though you have just started. A perfect lap here requires surgical precision.

Bathurst — Mount Panorama

Image: Playground Games
  • Distance: 3.36 mi (6.21km)
  • Turns: 23
  • Location: Australia

One of the most iconic tracks in the world, Mount Panorama tests how well a driver can ride a mountain, and in doing so, it remains unforgiving. With a combination of blind corners, steep elevation changes, and razor-thin margins, it’s a true test of courage.

Long straights like Conrod and Mountain encourage high speed, but a sudden transition to tight corners messes up your confidence. And being a street circuit, you have no room for error. Overall, 2-3 laps here can cause mental fatigue and pressure if not mastered.

Brands Hatch

Image: Playground Games
  • Distance: 2.43 mi (3.91km)
  • Turns: 9
  • Location: United Kingdom

The final track on our list is Brands Hatch, which can be a tricky mess for players who lack experience. Although it may look less intimidating, the track is sneaky.

What makes it so challenging is the layout, packing numerous elevation changes, blind apexes, and off-camber turns that test the way you handle raw speed. Meanwhile, corners like Paddock Hill Bend and Sheen Curve demand balance due to their technical GP section. This, with no margin of error, leaves no time to relax, posing serious challenges for those who lack skills.
