The team has also released patch 1.05, introducing various updates and fixes aimed at improving performance and gameplay, including some track updates. The full patch notes can be found below.

GamePlay Improvements

  • Reworked DLC color schemes for clearer visual distinction and consistency.
  • Improved AI performance when tyre wear drops below 50%.
  • Less aggressive AI behavior during races.
  • Improved AI pit-stop strategy.
  • Mandatory pit-stop added for AI in Dark Forest GP (Vintage).

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed first-person camera spawning inside the car after using Photo Mode.
  • Tutorial messages now display correctly across all languages and resolutions.
  • AI now properly uses DLC cars when available in specific seasons.
  • Fixed crashes during Early ’20s qualifying sessions and after pit stops.
  • Corrected Jorsey nationality (now shows Ireland).
  • Fixed Tommy Pryde’s nationality (now correctly Welsh).
  • Fixed helmet swap issue between Early ‘20 Alps Racing drivers.
  • Fixed rain sound continuing to play in the main menu after race end.
  • Resolved various UI, leaderboard, and translation issues.
  • Fixed missing engine sound on modern hybrid vehicles.
  • Fixed button functionality to skip race intro.

Track Updates

France

  • Vintage Chicane widened for improved flow.
  • Final Corner Run-off expanded for better safety.
  • First Corner Entry widened to enhance overtaking.
  • Pitlane (Vintage & Classic) – added missing slow zone.

Germany

  • Revised Vintage Chicane collisions for smoother gameplay.
  • Fixed rendering issues for Vintage & Classic LODs.

Italy

  • Vintage Chicane widened for improved flow.
  • First Corner Entry widened to enhance overtaking opportunities.

General Track Fixes

  • Adjusted track limits across tight chicanes and hairpins.
  • Fixed asset popping issues on several tracks.

Work is also underway to introduce a new difficulty system with selectable tiers to better suit different driving styles. Refinements to AI behavior and collision physics for a more authentic racing feel are also on the horizon, along with full steering wheel support with manual gearbox functionality and expanded graphics options.
