EA Sports Quietly Delists FIFA Games From Digital Storefronts

EA Sports has quietly delisted all of their FIFA games from digital storefronts. If you already own the game you can continue playing but anyone looking to purchase on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop, Steam or the Epic Games Store will be out of luck. FIFA 22 and FIFA 23 remain playable with an EA Play membership, according to video game industry analyst MauroNL.

Most of the FIFA games seemed to have been removed on September 21, around the time EA Sports FC 24 released their Ultimate Edition and EA Play trial. EA announced their 30 year partnership with FIFA was ending back in May 2022 and rebranded to EA Sports FC. It’s very likely the delisting of the games is due to the expired license but EA hasn’t made an official announcement.
