Well if were going off stats alone then it's Rodgers 99, Brees 98 or 99, then Brady at 97,etc

Oh, yeah, the first 2 out of 3 passes were entirely Staffords fault. lol

1. Fumble by Megatron
2. Stafford pass blocked by Peppers. Really?
3. Fumble by Burelson

Stopped watching after that.

So, Cutler has never had any of those days in his 6 yr career and hasn't thrown any bad passes?

This is just so flabbergasting a comment I don't know what to say.

Especially when you use the word 'vastly'.

Good God don't bring up the Denver days. Dude would be so putrid it was sickening.

Other days he'd look like Elway.

More often than not he simply looked above average, mainly because of his INT problem.

Eli is not an elite QB. He just isn't. He is one of the most inconstant starting QBs in the NFL right now. He's had 2 above average seasons in 8 years starting. While Rivers has had 3 elite seasons in 6 years starting. In terms of on the field skill level it really isn't close.

Your talking about giving a 97 rating to a QB that over his career doesn't even complete 60% of his passes. To me thats insane.

lol mathew stafford has never had a good game against the bears. look at tillman in the video giving magethron the business. according to madden rating tillman does not have a chance against megathron. jenning was one of the few db that did not allow a td all season, but according to madden jenning suck. madden rating is bs, and jay cutler is wey better than stafford.

This thread is the absolute definition of why fans should never be allowed to vote on anything to do with ratings.

Not to make this thread all about Jay Cutler but is it just me or does Cutler remind anyone else of Jeff George? lol. All that touted talent, arm strength and bravado, without any consistency. I am not downing the guy, just thought it was weird I have never noticed anybody make a correlation between the two, maybe I am just an old fuddy duddy and nobody alse even remembers Jeff George.

I do, Culter is far better the Jeff. Blitz Jeff and he would go into a shell. At least Culter is willing to play hard no matter what.

comparing cutler to jeff george is not cool. the bears was playoff bond before jay cutler got injured. the bears had a 7 and 3 record before he gat injured. the season before that, he too the bears to the nfc championship game and the bears lost to the superbowl champion (parkers). jeff george and cutler should not be mention in the same sentence.

Nice of you to bring up the only stats that go in Brady's favor in this argument. Aaron Rodgers in these version of madden ratings is deserving of a 99 so no real debate there. Brees had more yards, passing TDs, almost 6% higher completion, while only having 2 more INT then Brady. So if were going off of stats alone that's why I put Brady 1 point below Brees

Well I don't blame you for saying this, I mean the Eagles don't have a Clutch QB so you wouldn't know what it is like to have a Clutch QB. Also from your statement, I didn't realize stats brought home a Super Bowl, last I checked a win-loss record did, and having a clutch QB in the 4th quarter to help you win is a bad thing according to you?

False. For his career Romo has 13 4th qtr comebacks and 14 game winning drives.
QB Rating? All that matters to me is a Win-Loss Record. I could care less if Joe Flacco throws for 5,000 yards if the Ravens didn't win enough games to make the playoffs that same year, then who cares.

Oh and your only as good as your last game, and Romo failed in Week 17 in a WIN OR GO HOME situation. Eli, Tebow and Flacco are all better clutch quarterbacks as at least they are able to complete a 4th comeback.

Bringing in other players? Two can play that game. Don't talk about someone being unclutch.

By the way, I never said it was a bad thing. I said it wasn't everything.

Except that they both have won Super Bowls, and Rivers has not won anything.
