Rob Gronkowski’s girlfriend Camille Kostek had a touching message for New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft during the former tight end’s retirement ceremony. Gronkowski signed a one-day contract with the Patriots on November 12 to officially end his career with the team that first brought him into the NFL.
According to Sportskeeda, during the press conference at Foxborough, Kostek stood next to Gronkowski and spoke directly to Kraft about how his team changed their lives. She thanked him for creating the chance that allowed them to meet and fall in love.
Kostek told Kraft that his team brought them together. She explained that neither of them would have crossed paths if they had not both joined the Patriots. She added that her entire life would be completely different if she had not made the cheer team and Gronkowski had not joined the organization.

Their relationship started over 10 years ago
The couple first met in November 2013 at a Patriots charity event that raised money for Goodwill Boston. The event was called Thanksgiving in a Basket. Gronkowski was already a well-known tight end for the team by that point. Kostek had just joined the Patriots as a first-year cheerleader.
What started as a meeting at a charity event turned into a long-term relationship. Gronkowski played nine seasons in New England and helped the team win three Super Bowls before he left for Tampa Bay in 2020. Kostek has been with him through all the ups and downs of his career. The one-day contract signing held special meaning as Gronkowski brought his playing days to an official close.
While Gronkowski was back in New England for his retirement, Kostek has been working hard on her modeling projects. Victoria’s Secret shared a video of her wearing red underwear underneath pink pajamas that had candy canes printed on them. The company praised her and featured her as part of their holiday collection.
Kostek has worked with Victoria’s Secret many times before. She walked in their fashion show in New York in October 2024, which was the first time the brand held a runway show in six years. She has done other photo shoots for them too, including one in the spring where she posed at a farm in a white lace dress. After signing his retirement contract, Gronkowski admitted he thought about playing one more game for the Patriots.
The retirement event showed just how important the Patriots are to both of them. Their story proves that sometimes people meet the love of their life in places they never expected.
