Ridge Holland has been critical of the company for its treatment of him while under contract. The former NXT star chose to share his experience with the wrestling promotion for his last few months of working under them. Holland had been out with a foot injury that required surgery. He had been sent to compete under the TNA banner while under contract with WWE, where he picked up the injury.

Holland then revealed that his contract with the company was set to expire in mid-November. His post highlighted that even though the company is legally obliged to cover his rehab but that he would not be paid after the contract expires. He added that he might not be able to pay his mortgage after the release. It seems the company did not like this criticism from Holland. Fightful Select reported that the Stamford-based promotion decided to release him earlier. Now, he won’t even be paid for the rest of his term.

Ridge Holland Expressed His Deep Frustration With The Company And Paid For It

It was quite disheartening for many fans to see a WWE star pay the price for expressing his emotions. Ridge Holland decided to open up about his deep frustration with the WWE for not treating him right. He revealed that he would struggle to pay his mortgage in an emotional post that seemingly angered the company.

It seems Triple H made the call to release him earlier rather than empathize with him. It’s been stated before that all release decisions go through him, so he had the final call to let Holland go from the company. Many fans didn’t appreciate this at all and were unhappy with the Chief Content Officer.

The professional wrestling promotion apparently saw Holland’s post as a breach of contract. Apparently, you can’t express your frustrations about being released while being injured for performing under them. It somehow angered the higher-ups ups and they made the call to release him earlier. This meant that Holland missed out on another potential two weeks of pay.

Fans Are Furious At WWE For This Shocking Decision

Many fans have blasted WWE for making a shocking decision like this and letting go of one of their own in his time of need. The good news is that much of the wrestling community has come together to support Ridge Holland (real name Luke Menzies).

A GoFundMe account has been set up to help support Menzies and his family. Many fans and stars have already begun contributing to help him get back on his feet and to let him know they have his back. If you want to help out a father of three and an exceptional wrestler, go support him on social media with some kind words or donate to the fundraiser.
