WWE 2K25: How to Unlock All Characters

Breaking previous records, WWE 2K25 has an insanely stacked roster. Featuring over 300 playable superstars, from old legends to new sensations, 2K has finally delivered in quantity. However, taking notes from last year, not all of these wrestlers are available at the start of the game (unless you paid for them separately).

So, in this article, we’re gonna explain how to unlock all the superstars in WWE 2K25. If you want to make the most out of your purchase, you should definitely stick around. 

How To Unlock All Characters In WWE 2K25

While much has changed in WWE 2K25, from better graphics to intergender matches, the method of unlocking characters is still the same. The unlockable superstars are scattered throughout different modes of the game, and you’ll have to grind them if you want to unlock everything. That said, let’s break down each mode and see what’s available. 

Store Unlockables

Like 2K24, unlocking all the superstars available in the in-game store is the easiest way to stack up your roster instantly. This year, the store features 80 additional superstars, with each of them priced at 1000 VC. So, you’ll need 80000 credits to unlock all of them. To earn these credits fast, you can follow these steps. 

• Play offline matches and try to get them to 5 stars. Once each match is finished, you’ll earn a certain amount of VC. 
• Play the Showcase Mode and try to knock out as many objectives as you can in each match. 

To get an offline match to 5 stars easily, we recommend playing the Royal Rumble, as it’ll always be a 5-star match. However, keep in mind that you’ll need to win it to earn VC. To win the Rumble quickly, enter yourself as the 30th member and select a high-rated player. You can also simulate the match till the 30th entry. Finally, join the Rumble as the final entry, eliminate the remaining players, and earn the VC.

Once you have earned the credits, simply go to the in-game store to unlock the players. 

• Go to the Extras tab on the WWE 2K25 homepage.
• Select Store.
• Select Purchasables.
• Click on the item you want to unlock and purchase it.

If you don’t want to go through the rigorous grinding of Royal Rumble matches and want to unlock all these characters instantly, you can purchase the Supercharger DLC. This will unlock everything available in the store. Also, keep in mind that if you purchased either of the deluxe editions of 2K25, the Supercharger will already be included in the bundle, and you can just enable it to unlock everything in the store. That said, you’ll still have to play the different modes to unlock the additional superstars, so let’s dive into that. 

Showcase Unlockables

To unlock the next big chunk of superstars, you’ll have to play the Showcase mode in the game. This year, the Showcase consists of 17 different matches based on The Bloodline, and completing each of them unlocks additional superstars. That said, if you want to make sure that you unlock everything included in the Showcase, you’ll have to complete all the objectives in each match. 

While this can become a bit boring, the objectives are quite simple to do if you set the difficulty to easy. Once you complete each match with all optional objectives, you’ll unlock extra Superstars, Arenas, Championships, and more.

MyRise Unlockables

The MyRise mode has also made a comeback this year and it’s bigger than ever. Unfortunately, this means that it’ll take even longer to unlock everything in the mode. In fact, if you want to unlock all the superstars available in MyRise, you’ll need to go through at least two playthroughs. While some might see this as fun, others will probably find it jarring. That said, there’s no other way of unlocking these characters and you will have to finish the mode if you want to unlock additional superstars. 

While explaining everything in MyRise deserves an article on its own, here’s a simple breakdown of how you can unlock all the superstars available in WWE 2K25 MyRise. 

MyFaction Unlockables

Finally, you’ll find the last chunk of unlockable superstars in the MyFaction mode. The gist is similar to last year, and you can unlock the Superstars by collecting oddities or entering locker codes. To collect these oddities, you’ll need to play the mode and participate in different Live Events. 

Once collected, these oddities will allow you to unlock different Persona Cards. By acquiring the Persona Card of a Superstar, you can use them in all different modes of the game. That said, some of the cards are only available if you purchased the deluxe editions of the game, or via paid DLC.

DLC Unlockables

While the above methods will unlock all the currently available superstars in the game, there are still DLCs yet to be released. Each of the 5 DLC packs will include additional superstars, and to unlock these, you’ll obviously have to take out your wallet. However, if you bought either the Deadman Edition or the Bloodline Edition, you’ll automatically gain access to these DLCs once they’re released.
