Have you ever gone up against an opponent with mirrored attributes, but somehow they keep getting the upper hand? It’s not your fault; they just have the right build of badges, while you just randomly threw something together. If you’ve played WWE 2K25 long enough, you’ll understand how crucial it is to pick the right set of badges to complement your play style.
But with such a diverse selection of badges, which ones do you choose? We’re here to answer that question today and make your life easier. In this article, we’ll be discussing the top 10 badges available in WWE 2K25, along with when you should pick them. From going Beast Mode after a heavy hit to getting a free Special on an attack reversal, we’re not leaving any badge unturned.
What Are Badges in WWE 2K25?
Badges are customizations you can attach to your superstar for some added quirks. There are a total of 45 badges in the game, 11 of which are exclusive to MyFaction.
Badges can be equipped to individual cards in MyFaction, or your superstar in MyRise and The Island. They are unlocked as you play the game and complete certain actions, after which you can spend VC on upgrading them.
There’s a mix of offensive, defensive, and strategic badges in the game. Some grants you extra protection on individual body parts, while others send you into a raged frenzy (Beast Mode). All in all, most badges are tailored towards a particular play style, with a few being generally good overall. With badges explained, let’s get into the best badges in WWE 2K25.
Sting Like A Bee
- Effect: Increased light and heavy attack damage
- Requirements: Win 15 matches and land 250 light attacks
- Good With: Every archetype except Technician
Sting Like A Bee is one of the best overall badges in WWE 2K25. Its effect is not tailored specifically to any play style and can go well with almost any archetype in the WWE universe. While some wrestlers rely more on wearing out their opponent’s stamina, every other archetype will benefit from increased damage. This allows you to surprise your opponent with harder hits and eliminate them more quickly.
Slippery Eel

- Effect: Increases success at kicking out of pins
- Requirements: Win 15 matches and kick out of 75 nearfall pins
- Good With: Every archetype
Winning in WWE 2K25 requires pinning your opponent to the ring or having them tap out by submission (except cage matches). This is why Slippery Eel is effective in most wrestling builds. By increasing your chances of kicking out of pins, you have a better chance of avoiding defeat. This applies to every wrestler since you won’t always have the upper hand. Having this in your back pocket could make all the difference and give you another shot at winning.
Determination
- Effect: Enter Tank Mode after taking heavy damage
- Requirements: Win 15 matches without using a Finisher and kick out of 100 pin attempts
- Good With: Giant/Tank
If you’re fond of playing heavier wrestlers who are better at taking hits than dishing them out, Determination is a badge you need to have equipped. Consistently being able to go into Tank Mode each time you take heavy damage can be a lifesaver. This fits perfectly into a defensive play style where you’re aiming to tire out your opponent and control the tempo. It’s also good for tag-team or multi-man matches like the Royal Rumble, where you’re taking multiple hits.
Tank Mode:
- Increased resistance to knockdowns and grapples
- Reduces incoming damage
- Minimizes interruption and knock-over chances
Energetic Oppurtunist

- Effect: Enter Beast Mode when you stun an opponent
- Requirements: Win 15 matches and land 200 light attacks (Lifelong Fan Background only)
- Good With: Striker, Powerhouse, All-Rounder
We talked about going into Tank Mode for more resilience, but what if you just want to pummel your opponent into a KO? That’s where Energetic Opportunist comes in. By sending your superstar into Beast Mode every time you stun an opponent, you can deal insane amounts of damage in short bursts. It pairs really well with offensive archetypes like Powerhouse and Strikers, since they rely on high damage output. Just utilize Beast Mode well before it runs out.
Beast Mode:
- Temporarily increases attack power
- Reduces stamina consumption
- Faster recovery from damage
Always See It Coming
- Effect: Gain Special when you reverse an opponent’s attack
- Requirements: Win 15 matches and perform 200 reversals
- Good With: Every archetype
Special moves are unique, powerful abilities that can usually turn the tide in your favor. While you’d normally have to wait for the Special bar to fill up, that’s not the case when Always See It Coming is equipped. This badge allows you to gain a Special after reversing an incoming attack. This helps avoid damage and depletes a major chunk of your opponent’s health with your Special. It can be used with any wrestler since everyone benefits from an extra Special ability.
Anaconda

- Effect: Increases the power of your submissions
- Requirements: Win 25 matches by submissions and perform 250 submissions
- Good With: Grapplers
We’ve talked a good bit about wrestlers who rely on strength or resilience. But what about those who win through submission? Making your opponent tap out is a really fun play style, and one that a lot of players fail to utilize properly. However, the Anaconda badge should make that easy. This badge increases the power of your submissions, increasing the chances of a tap-out. If this is a niche you’ve been wanting to try, this badge is a must-use.
Born to Fly

- Effect: (Once per match) Enter Beast Mode when you climb up high
- Requirements: Win 15 Ladder matches and perform 100 springboard attacks
- Good With: Divers
Similar to grapplers, divers are also a neglected archetype in WWE 2K25. Smaller wrestlers can use their agility to their advantage to pull off some insane suplexes. Diving off the top rope to then pin your opponent is a feeling that words cannot describe. Born to Fly makes sure you’re able to finish the job if the dive wasn’t enough. Finish off your opponent while in Beast Mode to end the match in style. Just remember, this is a once-per-match occurrence.
Demolition Man
- Effect: Enter Beast Mode when attacking with weapons or props
- Requirements: Win 15 matches and land 50 attacks with the steel steps
- Good With: Weapon-allowed matches
Demolition Man is the ideal badge if you play a lot of weapon-allowed matches like no-holds-barred, TLC, extreme rules, etc. With no disqualification, use whatever you find to your heart’s content. Smash a chair over your opponent’s head or send them flying into a corner table. All this damage is further enhanced with Demolition Man as you’re sent into Beast Mode after using any weapons. Great for super aggressive play styles and no DQ matches.
Double Trouble (MyFaction Exclusive)

- Effect: (Once per match) When a partner succeeds at a Finisher, you gain a Finisher
- Requirements: MyFaction progression
- Good With: Tag-team matches in MyFaction
It would be an injustice to end the list without including the MyFaction exclusive badges. Double Trouble is one badge we recommend gunning for, purely because its utility is unmatched. Gaining a Finisher right after your partner successfully executes theirs can be game-changing in tag-team matches. It creates the perfect opportunity for you to absolutely annihilate at least one member of the opposing tag team.
Unscathed (MyFaction Exclusive)

- Effect: Win the match while having more than half vitality for bonus MFP
- Requirements: MyFaction progression
- Good With: Increased MFP (MyFaction Points) in MyFaction
Our last badge is another MyFaction exclusive. This one is more tailored towards getting additional post-match rewards, MFP. If you’ve finally learned the art of wrestling and end most of your matches above 50% health, why not benefit from it? Unscathed gives you extra MFP each match you’re able to win with 50% or more health. This is especially easy if you have tanks on your team like the Big Show or Mark Henry. While it doesn’t provide stat boosts, it’s a great pocket pick.
