WWE 2K25 has an extensive roster of some of the biggest names in wrestling. The superstars range from currently active talents to retired greats and even some legends who are no longer with us. That said, there are some notable exemptions from this year’s WWE 2K title. Some of these polarizing figures may be added later as part of DLC packs; others are not part of the WWE 2K25 roster due to active contracts with other wrestling promotions, and some were left out due to non-wrestling-related issues. Whatever the case, these megastars and legends are not available in WWE 2K25.Â
Active Superstars Missing From WWE 2K25
Bobby Lashley (Contracted To AEW)

Bobby Lashley made his WWE game debut in WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2007. Since then, he has been featured regularly in various WWE games, most recently in WWE 2K24. However, due to his contract with AEW, he was not included in WWE 2K25.
Robert Roode

Despite being an active member of the current WWE roster, Robert Roode does not appear in WWE 2K25, likely because he is not an active in-ring performer for the promotion. Despite that, you can still find Roode’s preset entrance motion in the game.
Ricochet (Contracted To AEW)

Ricochet was one of the most exciting and polarizing high-flying talents in recent years. A fan favorite from his WWE game debut in WWE 2K19, Ricochet is no longer a WWE superstar and is not featured in 2K25.
Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey is one of the most dominant forces in female wrestling history. She has appeared in five WWE 2K games as one of the higher-rated superstars. However, her last appearance was in WWE 2K24, and she is not on the WWE 2K25 roster.Â
Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar has been one of WWE’s biggest names for years, with incredible feats like manhandling John Cena, to ending The Undertaker’s storied WrestleMania streak. Lesnar has not been featured in a WWE 2K game since WWE 2K23 and is unavailable in WWE 2K25, likely due to his name being mentioned in a certain lawsuit pertaining to one Vince McMahon.
Edge (Contracted To AEW)

The Rated-R Superstar Edge is one of WWE’s most recognizable figures. His epic antics have earned him a place of permanence in the minds of Wrestling fans everywhere. The WWE Hall of Famer made an electric return after nine years away and instantly revitalized the love the WWE universe has for him. However, Edge left the WWE shortly after his return to join AEW. Following that, his last WWE 2K appearance was in WWE 2K23.
Jeff Hardy (Contracted To TNA)

Jeff Hardy is one-half of what many consider one of the most significant tag team partnerships in wrestling history. His last WWE 2K appearance was in WWE 2K22, after which he joined AEW and hasn’t appeared in a WWE 2K game since.
Matt Hardy (Contracted To TNA)

Matt Hardy and his brother Jeff make up one of the greatest tag team duos in WWE and wrestling history. He has appeared in his fair share of WWE 2K games. Matt’s last WWE 2K appearance was in WWE 2K20
