Wreckfest 2 Update Adds Plenty of Fixes, Improves Multiplayer Performance and More

Bugbear and THQ Nordic have released a new patch for Wreckfest 2 following last week’s Content Update #4, bringing a mix of fixes, improved multiplayer performance and gameplay improvements.

The update clears up a range of issues, including crashes when deleting paint coats, color and decal glitches, flickering in the garage and stuttering when looking back or resetting during multiplayer. It also fixes visual problems on several tracks, like floating objects on Sandpit Main and lighting inconsistencies on Sandpit Short. The Crusader’s loose bumper has also been adjusted.

For multiplayer and customization, admins and moderators can now issue bans directly from the player list and context menus have been added to Crap-It, Replay Select and the Server Browser for easier navigation. Players can choose to hide all paint designs or show only those from friends, while replays are now sorted with the newest first. The patch also adds new coat material decals, improves dynamic object syncing in multiplayer and includes some minor optimizations for Crash Canyon.
