Wreckfest 2 Content Update #3 Adds 2 New Cars, Track, Layouts and Smarter AI

Damage is now consistent across all framerates and the HUD has been updated to display damage on opponent car tags in red. New AI difficulty levels—Novice, Amateur and Expert—have been introduced, along with smarter, faster opponents that handle traffic more realistically.

The latest update also features faster track loading, reduced input lag in multiplayer and a number of crash fixes. Online features have been refined with the player list and chat accessible in multiple menus, new messages briefly displaying in-game and a short delay before switching tracks to give players time to see results. Players can now report misconduct directly from the player list and leaderboards will be reset soon since some previous top times are no longer achievable. Check out the full patch notes here.

Wreckfest 2 is available on Steam Early Access, giving PC players the first shot at the action. As for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, those versions are still on the way, though there’s no confirmed release date just yet. Telemetry support will be available from day one, thanks to a partnership with SimHub.
