Will TNA Wrestlers Be In WWE 2K26

It's complicated.

WWE 2K26 is just around the corner, and the one thing nobody can stop buzzing on about is Total Nonstop Action (TNA) stars possibly being included. WWE and TNA signed a multi-year partnership in early 2025, and whether we’ll see their partnership reflected in-game remains uncertain for now. However, you shouldn’t count them out just yet.

The Partnership Paradox

Here’s where it gets messy. TNA isn’t like AAA, where WWE basically pulls the strings, being the parent company. The partnership deal signed in January 2025 enables talent crossovers and swaps for NXT and TNA cameos.

However, when it comes to including wrestlers in a 2K game, it’s a whole different idea. Motion captures wrap up long before launch, and roster spots are locked down months ahead. As a result of this framework, AAA stars have it easy compared to TNA and will likely be prioritized in Roster inclusions.

Possible Inclusions

If TNA wrestlers are going to show up in WWE 2K26, certain talent is more likely to appear. Talking about the Hardys, Matt and Jeff are TNA tag champs right now — and along with their WWE history, they represent the most probable inclusions. Jeff’s community creation saw around 42,000 downloads, and Matt wasn’t far behind with 35,000 downloads.

That kind of hype doesn’t go unnoticed, and it’s clear that people want the Hardys back. Such community feedback could influence WWE 2K26 Roster development decisions, especially for DLC content.

Another likely inclusion is Joe Hendry. WWE recently signed him full-time in November 2025, which probably means he missed the cutoff for the main WWE 2K26 roster. However, he’s already making waves on NXT, teaming with Thea Hail, and chasing titles. If the devs are smart, they’ll fast-track Hendry as a post-launch DLC. He’s got that momentum, and fans are paying attention.

The DLC Question

We’ve noticed a pattern when it comes to the inclusion of late arrivals and surprise signings in WWE 2K — they almost always drop in post-launch DLCs. Just look at Giulia and Stephaine Vaquer, for example. Both were champions during WWE 2K25’s window, but they still ended up as DLC exclusives rather than the main roster.

Going by how things have played out in the past, TNA wrestlers aren’t likely to show up on launch day either. On top of that, WWE 2K games work under strict development timeframes. So, if there’s a TNA wrestler to be added to the game, the green light has to be given ahead of time. They’ll probably launch as part of a DLC pack instead, so hope for the best and stay updated with the hype.
