UPDATES TO AI ASSIST AND BOT

  • Attacking Behavior:

    • Attacking Runs:

      • Players can now position themselves right on the offside line. Situationally, when making a run, the player will not cross the offside line to complete the run, but instead will try to balance on it, move along with it during a quick attack, or get open for a pass on it during a positional attack.

      • Players will now perform attacking runs significantly more often when using options that involve attacking runs under Attacking Style in tactics.

    • Positioning for Passes

      • During quick attacks, players will now try to stay closer to the offside line and avoid dropping deeper than the ball.

  • Goalkeeper:

    • Fixed an issue where the goalkeeper incorrectly identified 1v1 situations and would automatically leave the goal to rush toward the ball.

  • Set Pieces:

    • Corner Kicks:

      • Player positioning during corner kicks now takes player attributes into account. Players with the highest “Height,” “Heading,” and “Jumping” attributes from both teams will be prioritized for central positions inside the penalty area.

      • Defenders now have greater freedom in marking opponents and may move significantly farther from their original positions when following their assigned player.

      • If the “Call 2nd Player” mechanic is used during the cutscene, the marking defender now immediately appears near the corner flag alongside the called teammate.

    • Fixed goalkeeper behavior when intercepting passes: the goalkeeper will now rush out only if they can reach the ball before any other player.

    • Fixed cases where players failed to make runs during set-piece situations.

    • Fixed an issue where wingers (RW, LW) would bounce back from the offside line during a counterattack and lose the momentum of the attack.

    • The “Call 2nd Player” mechanic will no longer trigger after a set-piece has already started (e.g., a free kick).

  • Bot Set Piece Behavior:

    • Goal Kicks:

      • Reworked bot logic for goalkeeper ball distribution, preventing passes directly to an opponent.

      • Improved bot defensive behavior during the opponent’s goal kicks.

  • On-Field Bot Behavior:

    • Bot now better considers the position of the controlled player, field situation, and their surroundings, allowing for smarter movement choices and better subsequent actions.

  • Fixed a bug where a bot-controlled player would attempt shots from extremely sharp angles near the opponent’s goal line.

  • Fixed bot aiming when shooting at the left-side goal.

  • Fixed an issue where bots could shoot at their own goal during the halftime whistle.

  • Fixed incorrect bot jump direction choices during penalties.

  • Fixed a situation where a bot-controlled player would fail to tackle the ball if it was sitting on the field line.
