UFC 5 Update 1.22 Adds New Fighter, Gameplay and Bug Fixes - Patch Notes

EA Sports has released UFC 5 update 1.22 today, adding Bryan “The Butcher” Battle to the roster with new Alter Egos set to arrive on May 6. In addition to the new fighter, the patch includes new assorted vanity rewards and a few gameplay improvements and bug fixes.

EA addressed a glitch in the crucifix position where transitions for the submissive fighter could be cancelled if the dominant fighter went for an arm triangle. The update also tackles issues in the tower feet on hips position, including fighters getting stuck and a problem that blocked the De La Riva Sweep during grappling exchanges. General

  • New fighters

Gameplay

  • Fixed an issue in the crucifix position, where a submissive fighter’s transition would be cancelled when the dominant fighter attempted an arm triangle.
  • Fixed an issue where fighters could get stuck in the tower feet on hips position.
  • Fixed an issue in the tower feet on hips position, that prevented the submissive fighter from completing the De La Riva Sweep during grappling exchanges.

Bugs

  • Fixed some rare t-poses
  • Fixed some incorrect Bruce Buffer announcements
  • Fixed a rare issue causing Fight Week rewards to not grant correctly
  • Fixed a crash when accessing the store through Xbox Cloud
  • Fixed a visual issues causing brief light flashes to occur in Fighter Select
