The conversation shifted when Kelce asked Clooney about his past statement that he and Amal Clooney had never argued in their ten years together. Clooney immediately turned the question back on him, saying, “Travis, shall we ask you the same questions?”
Kelce laughed as Clooney pressed him and answered with the same confidence he had shown earlier. “Well, it’s only been two and a half years, and you’re right. I haven’t gotten into an argument. I loved it out there.” He added that locals enjoy pointing out Clooney’s house to anyone passing by on the water.
Clooney joked, “I’m part of the tour,” which made Kelce laugh before he praised the actor’s home. “I’ll tell you what, it sits perfectly on that water, man. It’s a beautiful place. It had a beautiful area. Everybody out there was so lovely, man.”
Kelce then described mornings by the lake, saying, “Every morning, I was throwing my shoes on running up and down to the water. We had gloomy days. We had beautiful days, and every single day was just a new epic like realization of what’s really around the world. And I had never even imagined that place, you know, in my dreams.”
He also talked about the charm of the area, mentioning tiny dinner spots tucked into corners along the water. “There’s so many little spots that are just so fun to go to dinner too, man,” he said. “It’s like you’re going to a place that has, like, 10 seats in a corner of a cove, and it’s just the best pasta you could ever imagine. It is such a cool place. I recommend that place for everybody.”
