Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Collector's Edition: Everything Included, Confirmed

That Doom Slayer inclusion is something, isn't it?

Even though it seems like we only just got the announcement for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, Activision is moving quickly with its marketing. We already know all of the available editions for the game, their prices, and what kind of content you can expect to get from each one. There are two regular editions, the Standard and Digital Deluxe Edition, that are fairly regularly priced. However, the Collector’s Edition of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 might be of more interest to superfans.

The Collector’s Edition features everything the Digital Deluxe Edition does but with one major exception. That major exception raises the price of the edition significantly, but it could be worth it if you have the necessary funds. To see what the Collector’s Edition offers as well as its price and the rest of the editions in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, keep reading the guide below.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Collector’s Edition Content And Price

Before we get too much into the Collector’s Edition and what it has to offer, it should be noted that not every player who wants the edition will be able to get it, in all likelihood. As with any Collector’s Edition, it features real-life content and there’s only a specific supply of these items. This means once all the Collector’s Editions are sold, no more will be sold.

To ensure you guarantee your purchase of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Collector’s Edition, you want to pre-order it through a local retailer. Stores such as Best Buy, Amazon, and GameStop carry the edition and you can visit those sites to pay ahead for the edition, reserving it for you when the game launches on July 11.

Finally, you’ll also want to be aware that the Collector’s Edition is only available for console players, as the edition includes a physical copy of the game. This means players on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S can purchase the edition while PC players are stuck with the other two editions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4.

With all of that out of the way, let’s get into what the Collector’s Edition offers. Here’s everything that’s included with it along with its price:

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Collector’s Edition ($130)

  • Real, life-sized limited edition Birdhouse skate deck
  • 3 day early access (game is available starting from July 8 instead of July 11)
  • Doom Slayer and Revenant skaters that include unique moves and cosmetics
  • Bonus in-game soundtrack
  • Doom Slayer, Reveneant, and Create-A-Skater skate decks
  • Create-A-Skater apparel items

The limited edition Birdhouse skate deck is pretty much the only reason you’ll be interested in the Collector’s Edition. Birdhouse is Tony Hawk’s personal skateboard brand and the skate deck has his signature on it as well as a pretty sweet black and gray design. Of course, no wheels, trucks, or tape are included with the board, as you’re just getting the deck. It’s up to you if want to customize and ride the board, but if I get the Collector’s Edition, that bad boy is getting hung up on the wall somewhere.

For a Collector’s Edition and considering what it offers, $130 isn’t too bad of a price. Some single-player game Collector’s Editions go for $200-300 and beyond these days, so seeing a price tag of under $150 is a nice sight to see.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Standard And Digital Deluxe Editions

Now that we’ve covered the Collector’s Edition of the game, what about the other two editions? Well, the Standard Edition is sold for $50 regardless of your platform and just comes with the base game, as expected. You can purchase both a physical and digital copy of the game with this edition.

As for the Digital Deluxe Edition, that’s a digital purchase only. The mid-priced edition costs $70 on all platforms and comes with every piece of content included with the Collector’s Edition with the exception of the Birdhouse skate deck. So, Digital Deluxe Edition buyers are spending $60 less to not own a limited edition skate deck, which can be viewed as a good or bad thing depending on your stance.

Conversely, people who buy the Collector’s Edition are effectively spending $60 on a limited edition skate deck.

Should You Buy The Collector’s Edition?

In the end, the extra $60 between the Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Edition is fairly substantial. It’s more than the base price of the game and if you’re not a huge skateboarding or Tony Hawk fan, there’s really no reason to spend extra money on a skate deck. Save that cash for another game releasing in 2025, like GTA 6 (maybe? hopefully?) and just stick with the Digital Deluxe Edition, which gives you everything but the deck.

On the flip side of things, if you’re a diehard Tony Hawk fan or you can already see a space on your wall for the skate deck, then definitely consider the Collector’s Edition. It’s a decent value for what you’re getting if you’re a collector or a big fan. The Birdhouse skate deck could also be worth a fair bit of money on the open market in the near or distant future if you’re into that sort of thing.

Naturally, it’s ultimately up to you and your preferences when it comes to buying an edition of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. Hopefully, we gave you enough details so you can make the best choice possible.
