Just a few short weeks ago, the official X account for the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series released a countdown that would end on March 4. No details would be given regarding what kind of announcement the countdown was leading to, but most seemed to suspect that it would be an announcement of both Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 being remade and bundled with one another, similar to the release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 back in 2020. If recent leaks are to be believed, not only has that been confirmed, but we know when we’ll be able to play it too.
According to reputable leaker billbil-kun on X, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will be released on July 11, 2025. Billbil also claimed that there will be three different editions for the highly anticipated release: A standard edition retailing for $49.99, a Deluxe Edition that will go for $69.99, and a Collector’s Edition that will be $129.99. Should players decide to preorder the Deluxe edition of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, they will be given access to “Doom Slayer & Revenant Skaters + Unmaykr Hoverboard + In-Game Music.” Preordering any edition of the game will unlock “Wireframe Tony Shader + Access to the Foundry Demo.”
While Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will be available across multiple platforms, the Collector’s Edition of the game — which is the most expensive — will be exclusive to the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch. Purchasing this or the Deluxe edition will also allow players three-days early access to the title.
While it’s unfortunate that the details about Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 have leaked ahead of its scheduled unveiling, is anyone actually surprised by the information? Following the success of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, it was obvious that Activision discovered that there was a viable market for these nostalgic titles. And unless the publisher was willing to skip the last two Pro Skater titles and move straight to Underground (which would require a lot more effort), it was all but a forgone conclusion that 3 and 4 would be the titles they remade.
We’ll be sure to keep the OS community updated once this information is made official this afternoon.
