As an NFL legend with seven Super Bowl rings, respect should be automatically granted. But that respect does not grant you protection from trolls. Tom Brady learnt this lesson the hard way when he posted on Instagram recently. BroBible reports that Brady was recently subject to ridicule on social media owing to his actions. He was basically deemed an immature “teen” who was trying to grab the attention of his “crush.”
If you saw Tom Brady’s recent Instagram stories, you would be taken aback by his openness. What is usually termed as a disastrous PR decision eventually turned into a rumor session. Brady’s Instagram was quite active on Sunday as he posted unfiltered pictures from his daily life. From highly specific updates about his lounging location to questionable selfie angles, Brady posted it all on Sunday, without a care in the world.
Apparently, in today’s world, forgiveness does not come easily. Fans immediately linked his actions to the rumors that were spreading about him. The theory is that Brady might be linked with social media celebrity Alix Earle. Now, the fans are speculating that Brady was trying to grab the attention of the creator known for her “Get Ready With Me” videos on TikTok and Instagram.

One of the fans was quite brutal with their assessment. “Brady out here doing 2013 Instagram style posts. Bro missed like a whole decade of pop culture. Do you 12.” Then the slander started falling in like rain. Most of the trolls were focused on his current relationship status as a “divorced man.” “People forget that, although he is TOM BRADY, he is also a 50 y/o divorced dad 😂,” one user said.
Another user chimed in with the same tone, “Posted up like a teenage girl on Snapchat circa 2015…this is the most divorced man to ever live.” Even the status of being an NFL legend can’t save you if your actions end up looking like those of a desperate person.
The trolls wholeheartedly mocked him for the same. “When you add a new girl you actually like on IG guys starting posting like this after not posting a story for two years,” one of them said. Another person put the final nail in the coffin: “This is called ‘yearning for a girl so bad you start posting hoping she sees it,’ and it happens to every man at least once.”
