The Golf Club 2019
The Golf Club 2019 Gameplay Videos - TPC Deere Run & TPC Southwind
TheApexHound and Sports Gamers Online have both posted gameplay video from The Golf Club 2019. The first video features a match against Shaun West at TPC Deere Run.
The next video features gameplay from the FedEx St. Jude Classic at TPC Southwind. Check them both out and post your thoughts.

TPC Deere Run looks really good with the level of detail HB Studios has on the SpeedTrees now. It was also cool to see that you can apply real life intuition to playing shots out of the rough now, and chip shots seem to ALL roll out realistically.
The set up and flow of the multiplayer game suggested to me that this game is going to be a hoot to play online, which is something I can't say for the previous two installments. It's great to finally see them get real time multiplayer in the mix, along with a means of creating a match before everyone gets to the first tee!
One thing I saw that hopefully gets fixed is that the in-game HUD was tracking the scores as if they were in stroke play rather than match play.
Do you know if a PS Plus account is required for multiplayer?

Yes, a PS Plus account is required.

Forgot to mention the waggle animation... indeed it's another touch that adds personality to the game!
HBS has already indicated they fixed the match play score reporting bug on the in game HUD.
The host (ApexHound) was using the medium difficulty clubset, called "Pro" in TGC 2019. The ApexHound is a TGC 2 veteran, so this clubset wouldn't be a good fit for him long term in TGC 2019, in terms of challenge.
The HB Studios producer, Shaun West, was using the highest difficulty clubs (Master), and while he hit a lot of good shots, he hit some bad ones two. If you'll notice, they both finished the round over par.
No, unfortunately not.
