The Crew 2 Trailer - Open Beta Available Now

Ubisoft has just released a new gameplay trailer for The Crew 2, showing off what’s in the open beta. Fans can preload The Crew 2 open beta now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. It starts at 1AM PST on June 21 and ending at 1AM PST on June 25.

UPDATE: (6-21) The open beta is available.

Giving players access to the game’s entire open world – a scale model of the entire US, with nine major cities and seven distinct regions – the open beta is a chance to climb through the first two levels of the progression system. As you earn followers by competing in events, pulling off street stunts, and doing just about any other cool thing you can think of, you’ll unlock new vehicles, motorsports disciplines, and events in which to compete. Also, just like in the full version, you’ll be able to explore alone or team up with up to three friends in co-op during the beta period.

Fans can register for a chance to win a Harley Davidson Iron 883, the real thing, right here.

The Crew 2 will be available on June 29 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. If you purchase the Gold Edition, you can play three days early on June 26.

The newest iteration in the revolutionary franchise, The Crew 2 captures the thrill of the American motorsports spirit in one of the most exhilarating open worlds ever created. Welcome to Motornation, a huge, varied, action-packed, and beautiful playground built for motorsports throughout the entire US of A. Enjoy unrestrained exploration on ground, sea, and sky. From coast to coast, street and pro racers, off-road explorers, and freestylers gather and compete in all kinds of disciplines. Join them in high-octane contests and share every glorious moment with the world.

Push boundaries and take on new experiences in iconic locations. Fly and spin through fog and clouds above the snowcapped Rocky Mountains, burn rubber in the backstreets of New York City, sweep through the Mississippi River, and explore every inch of the Grand Canyon. Driving your dream hypercar, riding some of the most iconic American bikes, and taking control of the swiftest aerobatic planes and powerboats: opportunities for fun and challenges are limitless in a fully redesigned USA.

Join four different motorsports families from around the country: street and pro racers, off-road experts, and freestylers. 1. Open beta is now live.
I had to delete the closed beta to fit room on my PS4 HDD (for Trials Fusion and COD:BO3), but it looks like I'll have to free up room for the open beta again.
I'd like to do a little more exploring and actually do some online stuff. Let me know if anybody wants to join up somehow this weekend. I should be available.
I tried it on somehow had more of a "generic" feel to it than the first one, oddly.  Handling on cars was good.  Planes just not fun for me.  Boats were ok but nothing to write home about.  I actually thought the boat racing would be more exciting.   Sense of speed with the boats and planes isn't exciting...I guess those are harder to get right than cars.
I played quite a bit yesterday on the 1X, both with friends and by myself. Game looks real good on the X no pop up at all , unlike horizon 3. The handling is decent and there are adjustments if needed , although the "Motocross" bikes handle like a wet turd. If you're going to feature a certain type of vehicle in your game you should do some research on how they handle in real life , the MX bikes aren't even close.
Really had a lot of fun with friends racing Cars, Trucks, and boats. Not sure how many people you can have in your crew but someone said only 4???? I hope not, should be at least double that. It appears there are a ton of vehicles in the game and some customization as well.
Seems like there will be a lot to do and I think the game will be decent but I'm going to hold off on buying it, if MXGP Pro was not coming out a couple days after this I'd probably pick it up but I know there's no way it would get any play time because I'm psyched for some Motocross!!!!!!!!!
