Pine Valley Golf Club
It’s only fitting that we kick things off with arguably the greatest golf course of all time in Pine Valley. It may not be as famous as Augusta National or Pebble Beach, but it has sat at the top of “best golf course” lists for decades. The New Jersey course designed by George Crump (his only course) is playable thanks to PGA Tour 2K25 community members Paddyjk19 and chris.denomy.
Just search for Pine Valley GC (PJK) or Pine Valley Clementon (L) to play the lord of American golf courses. Chris also designed Pine Valley’s short course.
Augusta National Golf Club
Ahh, now we move on to one of the most famous places in all sports, not just golf. Allister Mackenzie and Bobby Jones designed a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece that never ceases to amaze us every time we tune in to The Masters each Spring. But, playing the course in PGA Tour 2K25 can be extremely tricky because many community-designed versions of the course come and go, and we all know why. But for now, we found one version that’s not perfect, but at least has the spirit. To play it safe, I would search for “Mac” and then pay attention to the thumbnail and see if it looks familiar to you.
Royal County Down
Regularly ranking right towards the top with courses like Augusta National, Cypress Point, Pine Valley, and St Andrews, Royal County Down is truly one of golf’s heavyweights. The Old Tom Morris-designed course is a fun layout with both ocean and mountain views. Gamers are also very familiar with it, having played it in the Tiger Woods games, among other things.
Play this iconic course in PGA Tour 2K25 by searching for Royal County Down by JayJohnson7. Just a reminder though: the infamous water hazard on the 17th fairway has been replaced by a small Church Pew-like bunker.

Arguably the best public course aside from Pebble Beach, Bethpage has been a staple for big golf tournaments like the US Open and Ryder Cup, while also being a popular course in players of golf video games. Designed by Joseph Burbeck, it’s also regarded as one of the most challenging tracks in the US, and there’s an iconic warning sign to let you know.

To play these hollowed grounds in PGA Tour 2K25, search for Shinnecock Hills MG by TheMiguelGrande.
Merion
An iconic US Open and US Amateur venue, Merion features one of the best layouts in golf and is also noted for being pretty short.
