Player rewards are back in the latest event as we move on from some very disappointing rewards in the Live Series Event. This MLB The Show 21 Stance: Righties Event is good to see after the two prior events were focused on cards already in the game as the main rewards. Here we’ll be chasing 2nd Half Heroes John Olerud and Prime Todd Frazier.

Olerud will come with his usual impressive contact and vision stats, though his defense at first base is not quite as good as I might have expected. Frazier will bring the power with added pop versus LHP. He can play 3B/1B but has rather mediocre fielding attributes at both spots. Still, I like hitting with Frazier most years, so I bet he plays above his ratings for many folks.
