  1. maybe the trend is coming to an end? surprising, maybe the playerbase of this mode finally realized it DOESN'T like to be bent over backwards and grind tediously for hundreds of hours and rely on a virtual currency to excel and upgrade

Funny...thought there would be more posts by now.
We arent the crowd for it, lol
It's the equivalent of expecting Twitter to blow up over Czars play actions...
I get it, wishful thinking..but the Neighborhood will be filled to the brim with back flipping mascots again this year...its going nowhere.
I screw around in The Neighborhood untill I can comfortably start MyLeague. I honestly don't care much about it. I'd much prefer to read some MyLeague news but 2K seems to forget at times the game is called NBA 2K.

Didn’t spend a dime on VC last year despite playing my player almost exclusively, so I’m not even sure what you’re talking about. I actually had so much VC left over from wheel spins/trivia winnings that I probably spent around 700K on crap I didn’t even want.
I actually enjoy Park but I don’t have time to wait 30 minutes to play a 5 minute game when everyone is ducking, dodging and hunting for easy wins. I migrated almost exclusively to Rec. Until they find a better system to replace Got Next, I doubt I’ll be playing a lot in the Neighbourhood.
Its actually amazing to see how much different focuses 2K has for this game.. its dope.. everyone has an option to do whatever.. Never messed with the neighborhood, but ill try it

Pretty sure the low comment count has to do with 90% of the OS users not caring about online play.
The game sold 12 million copies last year my man, and most of those players play online almost exclusively. MyPlayer isn't going anywhere. Even if, for some reason, 2k decided to charge players a $5-10 a month subscription fee just to use The Park it'd still sell millions upon millions of copies.

    All I read was “LAAAAAAG!”

ipodking confirm on twitter stating 2K will be having new servers! Only time will tell if this is actually TRUE!

Did they scrap the "Got Next" system and move to regular matchmaking, or will I be spending another year not playing online?

This was probably the main reason why I didn't Park that much. I mostly played Pro-Am games.

I don't think they did. At least 3vs3 proam is available...if it's like 5vs5 where its matchmaking then that should be the go to play this year.

Maaaan, they say this every year...
Anyways, glad they brought back park rep. Getting to elite 3 was too easy.

that mode takes hours and hours to play and to upgrade your player, how much hours you play of that mode this year alone?

A lot. That’s the point of playing the game. It shouldn’t be easy to upgrade your player, or else everyone would be a 99.
I don't give a **** about disc golf and Kart racing
Once again for the fourth or fifth year in a row : HAVE PARK MATCHMAKING 🗣🗣🗣
