Shortly after the Nike SB Pop-Up Event (live until May 5), EA has added another limited-time event for the end of April in skate. The Earth Day Event is live now and will run until April 28, 2026, at 10 AM PT. The event brings new challenges and exclusive Earth Day gear (deck graphics, trucks, wheels, stickers, and more). The Nike event brought a new park, free access to the Isle of Grom in night mode, and the UGC challenge. In comparison, the Earth Day event is certainly more subtle.
Here is the complete list of challenges available for Earth Day:
- Total Manual Distance (224m)
- 500pts Sequences with Manual Reverts (4 required)
- Total Powerslide Distance (22m)
- On-board (2,204m)
- Flip Trick to Manual to Flip Trick (2 required)
- 750pts Sequence with a 22m Manual
Completing these challenges will award you the Grip Pattern “Globe Grip” and a new “Reborn” Grip Color. By simply logging in during the time the event is live, you also get the “Bugging Out” green Trucks and the “Recyclers” Wheel Colors.
A Subtle Mini-Event

Earth Day isn’t exactly something that aligns with the identity of skateboarding culture, so it makes sense that this is more of a mini event. Rather than a full-blown event with a dedicated park or currency, the Earth Day event keeps things simple with straightforward challenges and minimal rewards. A dedicated custom T-shirt would have been nice, but we only get trucks, wheel colors, and grip pattern/colors.
You also have to take into account that this event is taking place while the Nike SB collab is still ongoing. The Earth Day event kind of supplements that by giving players more free cosmetics, and that’s never a bad thing. On its own, the Earth Day event won’t necessarily get players to log in, but they will enjoy the free rewards when they do hop on for the real show, the Nike SB Pop-Up. Either way, the event is live now until April 28, so you might as well hop on to enjoy the free cosmetics on offer. While the challenges are easy, they are worth ticking off for the new Reborn Grip Color.
