Continuing what many consider to be the game’s renaissance, a Nike Pop-Up event just debuted in skate. The live event will run until May 5 and allows players to both purchase exclusive items and try out the new Nike SB park for a few welcome rewards, including the Nike SB Dunk Highs, a black pair of socks, and a deck sticker. You also don’t need to own the Premium Skate Pass to dive in, as it will take place during the Isle of Grom Open Access period.
That’s not its the biggest highlight, though, as together with the event, Grom at Night also made its debut, thus allowing players to finally skate at night while at the Isle. The feature will last until June 2nd. There’s no news regarding whether a nighttime toggle will ever come to the San Vansterdam map, but we can only hope.
For those looking to flex their skills, a new Nike-themed SB Pop-Up UGC Contest is also running simultaneously with the event and allows skate players to send in clips for a chance to win IRL Nike SB shoes and San Van Bucks. To compete, simply submit a 15 to 30-second-long clip of a line to skate. Reel (the game’s submission hub). Just be warned, your video must follow the guidelines below. You can check out more by heading to the contest’s official ruleset.
