“She Got That Curse Pu**y”: DJ Akademiks Goes Off On Megan Thee Stallion In Explicit Rant. He Suggests The Rapper Is Bad Luck For Klay Thompson

DJ Akademiks recently went on an explicit rant targeting rapper Megan Thee Stallion. He suggested that she brings misfortune and trouble to her boyfriends, particularly her current partner, NBA star Klay Thompson. 

Akademiks claimed that Megan is “bad juju” and bad luck for the Dallas Mavericks guard. The streamer used shocking and offensive language during his tirade, which was broadcast on his platform. His alarming comments were aimed at linking her presence in Thompson’s life to his struggles on the court.

The basis for Akademiks’ rant was the timing of their relationship. Thompson and Megan went public in July 2025, which coincided with the start of what has become the worst shooting season of his professional career. This major drop-off in performance, according to the streamer, gives rise to his highly criticized claims.

“Megan Thee Stallion got some bad luck pu**y,” Akademiks said. “Any n**** she f***s, they experience the darkest chapter of their life. … She got that curse pu**y.” Akademiks said.

Akademiks Claimed That Anyone Dating Megan Thee Stallion Has A Downfall

Akademiks made a broader claim, suggesting that the negative effect Megan has is not just on Klay Thompson but on any man she dates. This made his argument a general accusation of misfortune linked directly to the rapper’s private life.

He specifically tied this curse narrative to Thompson’s declining numbers and reduced role on his team. Since the relationship began, the guard’s scoring average has fallen significantly, and his overall shooting percentage has dropped. Furthermore, his team cut his minutes, and he is now coming off the bench in games.

To reinforce his highly controversial point, Akademiks brought up Megan’s past relationships as well. He openly blamed her for the legal downfall of rapper Tory Lanez, who is currently serving a prison sentence. This prior incident was presented as further evidence that Megan brings bad luck to all her partners.

Thompson And Megan Are Still Keeping Their Relationship Strong

Despite the harsh and viral criticism from DJ Akademiks, Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion appear to be keeping their relationship strong and united. Neither the veteran NBA guard nor the popular rapper has released a public statement or reply regarding the explicit and crude claims made by the streamer.

Choosing to fully ignore the mounting public negativity, Thompson recently made a very public and romantic gesture to honor his girlfriend. The four-time NBA Champion is known for his love of sailing, and he decided to rename his cherished boat in tribute to her, clearly showing his commitment.  

Thompson renamed his vessel, which was previously known as the ‘Nordic Knife’ and the ‘Splash Express,’ to the ‘SS Stallion.’ Interestingly, following this grand gesture, Thompson had his best game of the season against the LA Clippers, scoring 23 points on strong shooting. This performance suggests Thompson may be putting his recent slump behind him, despite the outside pressure.
