‘Selling your soul’: Tom Brady gets destroyed by fans after what he just did in his new commercial

The hypocrisy is off the charts.

Tom Brady is facing serious backlash from fans after appearing in a Pizza Hut commercial. People are calling him out for going against everything he preached about healthy eating for years. The former NFL star, who is worth around $350 million, just launched a new campaign with the pizza chain.

According to The Daily Mail, the campaign is called “Pizza Before the Hut.” It challenges quarterbacks to say the word “pizza” right before “hut” during live games. If they do it, their city wins a pizza party. In the ad, Brady delivers pizzas to people’s homes and says “pizza” before “hut” just like he used to call plays on the field. One funny moment shows an old woman tackling him to the ground.

But fans are not happy about this commercial. For years, Brady promoted his strict TB12 diet plan. This diet is 80 percent plant-based and cuts out fast food, dairy, and sugar completely. Now people think he’s being a hypocrite by selling pizza.

Brady’s complete 180 on healthy eating has fans furious

One person wrote on social media that 10 years ago, Brady only ate spirulina and avocado ice cream. He even called soda “poison for kids.” Now he’s doing ads for Pizza Hut. Another fan said it’s a huge change from the man who used to preach the TB12 Method like it was a religion.

Someone else pointed out that Brady doesn’t even eat tomatoes, which are in pizza sauce. Another fan said “selling your soul takes different forms.” One person claimed Brady already sold out and is now doubling down on it. Athletes facing criticism from fans isn’t new, as LeBron James uses explicit language with JJ Redick during games. Another simply said “money talks.”

However, some fans defended Brady. One argued that a legend like him can change his mind if he wants. Another person pointed out that Brady doesn’t need to stay in perfect shape anymore since he’s retired. He’s not getting hit by defensive linemen on the field these days. One fan even said they guarantee Brady isn’t actually eating the pizza himself.

Brady always said his TB12 diet was the secret to his success. He won seven Super Bowls during his career, which is more than any other player in history. The diet avoids foods that cause inflammation, like sugar, fast food, and alcohol. It also cuts out certain vegetables like peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, and eggplant because they might cause inflammation.

The diet follows an 80-20 rule. Brady ate 80 percent vegetables and 20 percent meat to get all the vitamins and minerals his body needed. Sports stars often find themselves in heated moments, like when Luka Doncic confronted a Pelicans fan using harsh words during a game.

Now fans think Brady is just chasing money, especially since he signed a $375 million contract with Fox Sports. Brady is currently in his second season as a Fox analyst. He also bought a small ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders recently.
