Rugby 25 Patch Adds Ruck Hold Ball Option, Improved Stamina System and More

Another Rugby 25 patch arrived today for all platforms bringing in a few key gameplay tweaks and improvements. One of the biggest additions is the Ruck Hold Ball option. Players can now hold A (Xbox) or X (PlayStation) to keep possession in a ruck, preventing the opposition from stealing it. But be careful, holding on too long could get you penalized for not releasing.

The update also fine-tunes evasion controls, making them more intuitive. Using the right stick, up will now trigger a Bump Off, left/right performs a Sidestep and Down executes a Fend, all of them are camera-relative to your left stick movement. The stamina system has also been reworked to better balance fatigue with difficulty level now playing a bigger role in stamina drain.
