Rob Gronkowski is never afraid of getting some laughs out of everyone around him, whether it’s intentional or unintentional. However, it seems this name mispronunciation moment from Gronk on live TV that had everyone rolling with laughter was probably unintentional.
The New England Patriots Legend appeared on the NFL’s Fox Sunday to speak about the game once again. During his analysis of the game between Tampa Bay and Seattle, he attempted to give Emeka Egbuka some flowers for his stellar performance.
However, it seems that his praise was lost in the shuffle as everyone quickly noticed his slip-up when it came to pronouncing ‘Egbuka.’ Gronkowski knew he had messed up instantly as the laughter from his colleagues on FOX came in. He then quickly corrected himself over his mistake.
‘Baker Mayfield also did it without his No. 1 wide receiver, Mike Evans,” Gronkowski said. “And you gotta give credit to this rookie sensation wide receiver out of Ohio State, Emeka “Egbigboo”, going for over 100 yards.

Rob Gronkowski is, at times, one of the funniest players to ever step on the football field. The former tight end loves to show off his energetic personality every chance he gets. However, it looks like Gronk was trying to have a serious moment during his analysis when he made a hilarious mistake.
As soon as his ‘Egbuka’ pronunciation came out of his mouth, everyone had big trouble holding in their laughter during the Fox broadcast. Even fans couldn’t contain their laughter over the hilarious moment and started reacting to it online.
A lot of fans are now pretty family with Egbuka’s name considering his fantastic performances over the seasons. He better have learned that for good because as far as the season is going for Egbuka, he might be showing up in the highlights quite often.
