Virtual racing enthusiasts will be able to experience a new career mode, complete with a narrator who will introduce events and provide guidance throughout the journey. The mode will feature four main racing events, each comprising multiple races that must be completed before progressing to the next event. A leaderboard will keep track of player progress as you encounter ten unique rivals with distinct personalities, backgrounds and appearances.. Career mode will also offer a variety of secondary challenges providing over 200 different playable events.

In addition to career mode, players will have access to a more comprehensive single-race experience. Endurance races will include the ability to save and rewind during races. The single-race and time-trial game modes will provide opportunities for players to hone their riding skills, become accustomed to the various bike categories and continue pushing themselves.

Cutting-edge technology will blur the line between the game and reality, as advanced improvements will harness the full potential of the latest generation consoles and top-of-the-line PC configurations. This will result in an unprecedented level of realism and intricate detail, providing players with an incredibly authentic and lifelike riding experience.

RIDE 5 will feature a dynamic weather system for the first time in the series, calculating both track and air temperature in real-time to generate realistic weather changes during races. The sky system has been enhanced by moving from a 2D technology based on real photos to 3D volumetric clouds. This new system creates a more immersive visual experience as players can now witness clouds changing shape and interacting with lighting based on their density. Technological improvements have also affected physics, which have been improved in every aspect, from the interaction between the rider and the bike to varying lean-angle speeds for each bike category.

Players can join cross-play lobbies online across all platforms with world leaderboards as well as split-screen local play. The race creator feature enables players to customize their races and championship experience by selecting bike categories, AI opponents and tracks. Players can also set their own scoring and rule systems allowing for unlimited scenarios.

RIDE 5 offers a fully immersive experience that caters to both experienced bikers and those new to two-wheel racing simulations. For less experienced players an enhanced set of riding aids are available to help ease the learning curve and provide full control of their bike. These tools include assisted brakes, cornering, automatic steering and throttle, ideal trajectory and many others.

Players can express their creativity through a range of editors that allow for the creation of customized bikes, suits and helmets. Players can create liveries from scratch and share their creations online across all platforms, allowing access to the entire RIDE 5 community’s designs.
